Dr. Hasselmo graduated magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard College, where she studied organismic and evolutionary biology. She discovered her passion for psychiatry and working with young patients while conducting her neuroimaging thesis on social cognition, which won the Hoopes Prize for outstanding scholarly work. Outside the lab, she was an editor for Harvard’s literary and humor magazines. 

After graduation, she completed a clinical neuroscience fellowship at Yale’s Child Study Center, working in the Developmental Disabilities Clinic and contributing to research on social functioning and biomarkers of autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. After being offered multiple merit-based scholarships, she chose to pursue her MD at Yale School of Medicine.

Throughout medical school, Dr. Hasselmo won the Marguerite Rush-Lerner and PHM Health Professions Creative Medical Writing and Art Contest awards annually for her comics and graphic short stories. She was also honored with the Howard Spiro Society Creative Writing Award in 2022. Many of Dr. Hasselmo’s accomplishments relate to her passion for storytelling. She created a coloring book, called a Hero’s Journey, through collaboration with Yale's inpatient pediatric psychiatry service, to help children and young adolescents demystify and offer guidance through inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. Her historical medical research, which also focused on storytelling, earned her the Elias E. Manuelidis Memorial Fund Grant and the William B. Bean Student Research Award.

At Yale, Dr. Hasslemo collaborated with the inpatient pediatric psychiatry and served as a clinical team member at Yale’s HAVEN Free Clinic, providing care to uninsured patients in New Haven. Recognizing the anxiety and stress that often accompany the admissions process, she began using her storytelling and communication skills to help pre-med students craft compelling personal statements and present themselves confidently in interviews.

As a coach, Dr. Hasselmo is both encouraging and adaptable, while also pushing students and aspiring resident physicians to tackle challenging areas and strive for excellence. She approaches problem-solving with creativity and out-of-the-box strategies, ensuring students overcome obstacles along the way. She is also highly detail-oriented and a big-picture thinker, helping students refine every aspect of their application while ensuring each piece contributes to a cohesive and compelling narrative.

Dr. Chung's academic journey began at MIT, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in biology and Spanish with a perfect GPA. During her time at MIT, she was also involved in Camp Kesem, Globemed, and peer tutoring within her sorority and the Department of Biology. Dr. Chung actively contributed to research projects exploring cancer proteomics and investigating morphological changes caused by seizures in murine models. These experiences not only deepened her understanding of the scientific process but also fueled her passion for translational research and its potential to improve patient outcomes.

In college, Dr. Chung also worked as a certified crisis counselor, providing meaningful support and guidance to survivors of sexual assault. Additionally, she played an important role on her undergraduate student government's presidential advisory council, an excellent example of her leadership skills and her ability to contribute to important decision-making processes.

Her passion for learning inspired her to pursue her medical degree at Yale University. At Yale, she tutored first- and second-year students, precepted clinical workshops for third-year students, and was invited to speak at internal medicine grand rounds as the winner of an essay competition. She served as Chapter President for the medical student section of the American Medical Association and guided several policies toward recommendations for adoption.

While completing medical school, Dr. Chung completed an international elective in Bogota, Colombia, volunteered at the HAVEN free clinic, and fostered her early career as a physician-scientist by spending four years as a clinical researcher in Yale’s Orthopedic Surgery Department and Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department.

Following her graduation from medical school, Dr. Chung completed her general surgery intern year at Brigham and Women's Hospital before becoming a categorical general surgery resident at the University of California, San Diego. She has also been a Surgical Outcomes Analysis & Research Initiative (SOAR) research fellow at the Boston Medical Center. Dr. Chung also participated in the Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian Research Fellowship and was awarded the Health Resources Services Administration's (HRSA) National Research Service Award Grant.

Dr. Chung's passion for counseling stems from her own experiences navigating the challenges of medical training and residency. Inspired by the support she received from mentors, she is dedicated to offering the same guidance to others, using her background to empower individuals and help them build resilience.

Following graduation, Dr. Kapoor completed a general practice residency before embarking on a diverse career in private practice. She served as a clinical instructor at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where she enjoyed teaching and mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. Beyond the classroom, she participated in global dental relief efforts in Guatemala and Kenya, providing care to underserved populations through international outreach programs.

As an admissions consultant, Dr. Kapoor understands the challenges and setbacks applicants may face. Dr. Brown has a strong background in medicine, research, and mentorship. He began his higher education journey at the University of Virginia, where he earned a BA in Spanish language and literature. He earned his MD from EVMS, where he also completed his internal medicine internship and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Brown holds an MBA from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary and a Master of Biomedical Sciences from EVMS, demonstrating his commitment to both healthcare and leadership.

Throughout his career, Dr. Brown has received multiple accolades, including the Outstanding Intern of the Year Award from the EVMS internal medicine residency program and the Certificate of Recognition in Research and Discovery for his contributions to medical research. His dedication to compassionate, patient-centered care was further recognized when he was honored with the Melissa Warfield, MD, Humanism in Medicine Award.

With a global perspective on medicine and business, Dr. Brown participated in a Global Business Immersion program in Spain, studying international healthcare operations and supply chain management. He has also engaged in hands-on medical service through a volunteer trip with floating doctors in Panama, where he provided care to underserved populations in rural communities.

Dr. Brown is passionate about mentorship and believes in a highly personalized approach to coaching. Dr. Stoddart began her academic journey as an international student at Mount Holyoke College, where she earned a BA in chemistry and mathematics. Her academic excellence continued as she navigated the competitive dental school application process, earning admissions to prestigious institutions including the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and Stony Brook University—ultimately gaining acceptance to nine out of ten dental schools she applied to.

She chose to complete her dental education at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine due to the program's focus on medical-dental integration. Dr. Stoddart later refined her expertise with a healthcare MBA from Florida International University, where she graduated summa cum laude. Her educational background also includes advanced degrees from Boston University School of Engineering, where she earned both a Master of Science and a Master of Arts.

As a practicing general dentist, Dr. Stoddart has built her career on a passion for making quality dental care accessible to underserved populations. An accomplished researcher, Dr. Chokkara is passionate about improving healthcare outcomes and the quality of care. He has published numerous studies examining the treatment of patients with COPD and asthma, as well as research on the inclusivity of COVID-19 clinical trials for traditionally underrepresented patient populations. 

Throughout his medical career, Dr. Chokkara has conducted extensive research applying informatics and machine learning to analyze national trends in healthcare quality and develop readmission prediction tools. These experiences have sharpened his analytical skills and given him unique insight into the potential of emerging technologies to drive data-driven decision-making in medicine. Looking ahead, he hopes to explore how big data and machine learning can be leveraged to enhance patient care.

Dr. Chokkara has also served as a teaching assistant for several courses at the University of Chicago. His experience interviewing prospective students has given him an insider’s perspective on the medical school admissions process, deepening his understanding of what makes an applicant stand out. He leverages this expertise to help students strengthen their applications and navigate this pivotal stage of their careers. Dr. Sudhir's passion for medicine took root in Iowa, where she grew up and developed an early interest in the field. During her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Sudhir was Medical Student Mentor Committee Chair for Alpha Epsilon Delta (AED), and spent over two years as an EM, providing emergency medical services for community members in and near the Hopkins Homewood Campus.

After completing college, Dr. Sudhir began her gap year at UCSF, where she served as a lab manager and conducted an independent research project in neuro-oncology. Her exceptional research skills and commitment to advancing scientific knowledge were evident in her co-first authorship of a paper stemming from this project, as well as her achievement of winning the best poster award at the Society for Neuro-Oncology Conference.

Dr. Sudhir’s academic pursuits continued at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her academic journey has been marked by a strong commitment to research, with an impressive 14 publications to her name, reflecting her dedication to advancing medical knowledge and contributing to the scientific community.

Beyond her academic and research pursuits, Dr. Sudhir has been actively engaged in mentoring and tutoring activities from college through medical school. She has guided pre-medical students through the medical school application process by reviewing personal statements, secondaries, and conducting mock interviews, sharing her expertise and insights to help aspiring medical students achieve their goals. Dr. Sudhir is passionate about mentorship and is committed to helping future physicians navigate the admissions process confidently.

Dr. Kalajian grew up in Massachusetts and graduated cum laude from Boston University with an undergraduate degree in behavior and health science with a minor in biology. She continued her studies at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where she received her DMD. While at UConn, Dr. Kalajian's achievements earned her the Kohrman Award and the International College of Dentists Student Leadership Award. She was an active member of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) chapter, where she served as the Vice President and President. 

She was also an avid volunteer at events such as Give Kids a Smile and she lobbied on Capitol Hill on behalf of her patients and dental colleagues. Dr. Kalajian was also the Class Representative acting as the liaison between pre-doctoral students and other local ASDA members. She was recognized as the ASDA District 1 New England Delegate of the Year and was awarded the ASDA Award of Excellence. The Connecticut State Dental Association presented her with the Charles A. Vernale Award for her community involvement and support of public health interests.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Dr. Kalajian has mastered time management skills, as evidenced by her numerous extracurricular accolades. She is passionate about helping students develop the organization and study skills necessary for academic success. Drawing from her own experiences, Dr. Kalajian understands that the path to becoming a dentist can be daunting, but she excels at breaking it down into manageable milestones and simplified tasks.

As a counselor, Dr. Kalajian has honed her ability to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of her students, allowing her to tailor her tutoring style to their individual academic needs and goals. Her patience, understanding, and firsthand experience of the challenges faced by dental students make her an invaluable resource for those seeking guidance and support. Dr. Kalajian is passionate about instilling a similar excitement for dentistry and academia within her students, helping them to develop the skills and confidence necessary to succeed in their chosen field.

Dr. Broussard was selected as a member of the DeBakey Scholars Program while at the Michael E. DeBakey High School for Health Professions, which awarded her a Bachelor of Science and Doctorate program entrance and scholarship. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston and received the top departmental chemistry award for two consecutive years. She also taught both biology and chemistry laboratory classes after her first year. 

After graduating from the Baylor College of Medicine, she completed an anesthesiology residency and obtained her Interprofessional Graduate Certificate in hospice and palliative care from the University of Colorado Denver at Anschutz Medical Campus. After residency, she became an attending physician at Baylor College of Medicine, where she mentored medical students and residents for over 12 years. She served as a voting member of the medical school admissions committee for over four years, experience that provided firsthand insight into the qualifications top medical schools seek in competitive applicants. 

Throughout her training and career, she has been involved in both bench and clinical research, resulting in multiple publications and presentations at national and regional conferences. Dr. Broussard has been published in the Journal of Anesthesiology and Clinical Science and has presented at the the Society of Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology Annual Meeting and the American Society of Anesthesiologists Annual Meeting, among others. 

Over 19 years of practice, Dr. Broussard has worked in one of the world’s top medical centers and built strong relationships with colleagues across Baylor College of Medicine, McGovern Medical School, and numerous institutions and specialties. Her long-standing involvement in education and mentorship has shaped her reputation as a thoughtful, invested supporter of future physicians.

As a coach, Dr. Broussard offers a balanced blend of empathy, strategy, and deep experiential knowledge. She understands the emotional and logistical challenges students face—from self-doubt to feeling overwhelmed—and helps them channel those emotions into actionable plans that support their long-term goals. With over 25 years of mentorship experience, Dr. Broussard has helped students get accepted to multiple medical schools across 20 U.S. states. 

Dr. Broussard is an attentive listener who encourages students to understand situations from multiple perspectives, and her admissions committee experience allows her to identify the qualities that define strong applicants. She helps students highlight these strengths or, when needed, develop a structured path to build them.

Dr. Olson’s educational journey began at Gustavus Adolphus College, where he graduated magna cum laude in psychological science, earning a spot on the President's Honors List. During his undergraduate years, Dr. Olson worked for the Office of Admissions for four years as a tour guide and admissions representative, gaining valuable insider knowledge of the admissions process. He was awarded the prestigious Knut & Alice Wallenberg Foundation Internship Award, which allowed him to complete an internship in Sweden. 

After college, Dr. Olson graduated with a DDS from UCSF, where he continued his involvement in admissions. He worked as an Outreach Assistant and Lead Student Ambassador for the 100+ member student organization that interviews prospective dental students. In this two-year role, he helped develop and distribute the interview rubric and criteria to student ambassadors, conducted prospective student webinars, and assisted with post-graduate dental admissions processing. 

Dr. Olson further advanced his education by earning an MS in oral and craniofacial sciences while completing his specialty training in pediatric dentistry at UCSF. He also interviewed prospective residents both in-person and virtually, gaining insight into the qualities sought by admissions committees and residency programs. During his residency training, Dr. Olson was selected as the Academic Chief Resident, responsible for planning and executing the year-long seminar series for all pediatric dental residents.

Currently, Dr. Olson works as a pediatric dentist at Hopscotch Children's Dentistry and Marin Community Clinics. With years of coaching experience, he has helped students get accepted to dental school, including the UCSF School of Dentistry, the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, and Creighton University School of Dentistry. 

Each counseling session with Dr. Olson is goal-oriented, but flexible. He lets students drive the sessions by identifying what they want to focus on and discuss.  This approach ensures students are well-equipped with purposeful direction and resources to answer their questions and help prepare their materials.

Before attending veterinary school, Dr. Reilly earned a BS in biological sciences from Colorado State University, graduating with dual minors in biomedical sciences and equine sciences. She went on to complete a DVM at the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, where her academic excellence earned her induction into the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She was also honored with several distinguished awards, including the Judith Ann Nelssen Scholarship Award, Dr. Sarah Lindsay Schillereff Scholarship Award, National Federation of Independent Business Award from the U.S. Congress.

Following veterinary school, Dr. Reilly completed advanced training in wildlife medicine at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota, where she honed her expertise in caring for diverse animal species. She later served as Head Veterinarian at the Virginia Zoo, associate veterinarian at the Fort Worth Zoo, and Head Veterinarian at Roosevelt Park Zoo, providing medical care for hundreds of species ranging from reptiles and birds to large mammals. Her work at these renowned zoological institutions has been featured by national and local media outlets, including NBC Dallas–Fort Worth, The Virginian-Pilot, WAVY News, and Military News, for cases ranging from a prosthetic-beaked penguin to groundbreaking COVID-19 diagnostics in big cats.

Dr. Reilly’s research has made significant contributions to the field of veterinary medicine. She was among the first veterinarians worldwide to diagnose SARS-CoV-2 in zoo animals during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to global understanding of zoonotic transmission. Her publications span multiple species and topics, including her co-authored studies “SARS-CoV-2 B.1.1.7 Variant Infection in Malayan Tigers, Virginia, USA” and “Prolactin Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay for Rhinoceroses—Another Tool for Assessing Reproductive Function and Dysfunction in This Taxon.” She is also recognized for her innovative work in training and deploying conservation detection dogs for wildlife research and management applications.

Alongside her veterinary practice, Dr. Reilly has extensive admissions and mentorship experience spanning over five years. She has served as a member and interviewer on multiple admissions committees, including the Eastern Virginia Medical School (Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University) Master’s in Laboratory Animal Sciences (MLAS) Admissions Committee, the Virginia Zoological Society Internship Committee, and the Fort Worth Zoological Board Internship Committee. In these roles, she has reviewed over 170 applications and interviewed more than 70 candidates, participating directly in admissions decision-making processes.

In her academic role, Dr. Reilly is passionate about student development, veterinary school admissions, and career mentoring. She lectures on topics including veterinary school admissions, zoo and wildlife medicine, career resilience, compassion fatigue, and integrative therapies in non-traditional species. She has guided numerous students to successful admission into veterinary schools, internships, and residencies, with students gaining admission to programs in 17 states and the Caribbean. 

Known for her approachable mentorship style and dedication to student success, Dr. Reilly draws upon her extensive experience as both a practitioner and an admissions consultant to help aspiring veterinarians craft compelling applications and navigate the competitive admissions process. Her commitment to continuous learning, teaching, and mentorship continues to inspire the next generation of veterinary professionals and makes her an invaluable resource for aspiring students seeking to craft a comprehensive and competitive application for veterinary school.

Dr. Tardino's journey began at Cornell University, where she studied human development, Spanish, and gerontology as a first-generation college student. During her time at Cornell, she gained international experience through a public health study abroad program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and became fluent in Spanish. After graduating from Cornell, Dr. Tardino took a gap year and worked as an Emergency Department Medical Scribe in Houston, TX, further solidifying her interest in the medical field. Additionally, she volunteered her time teaching weekly ESL classes to recent immigrants and refugees, demonstrating her commitment to community service.

Notably, during her senior year, Dr. Tardino was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and actively participated in her school's admissions committee. This experience helped her understand exactly what the medical school admissions process looks like, enabling her to guide aspiring physicians through the application journey.

With her diverse background, commitment to community service, and firsthand experience on an admissions committee, Dr. Tardino is well-equipped to help students achieve their dreams of becoming physicians. Dr. Holmes began her academic journey in Jamaica before relocating to Florida at age 18. She studied at Miami Dade College and later graduated from the University of Florida. A serendipitous conversation with a dental student sparked her interest in dentistry, leading her to pursue post-baccalaureate studies to prepare for dental school as a non-traditional student. Dr. Holmes has extensive work and leadership experience as a retail store manager and the lead orthodontic assistant at Beautiful Smiles in North Miami.

As Class President, Dr. Holmes demonstrated exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. She tirelessly represented and advocated for her classmates' needs while ensuring that academic and extracurricular opportunities were accessible to all. She was deeply committed to fostering a supportive, collaborative environment within her class, encouraging peer mentorship and teamwork as critical components of academic success and personal development.

In addition to this role, she was actively engaged in research focused on dental education. Dr. Holmes is passionate about exploring innovative teaching methods and educational strategies that will improve the learning experience for dental students. Her research aims to enhance curricula, optimize instructional techniques, and ultimately contribute to preparing future dental professionals who are clinically proficient and well-equipped to thrive in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape.

Dr. Holmes’ passion for dentistry and helping others is evident through her active involvement in community service, mainly focusing on improving access to dental care. Her transition to dentistry was driven by a desire to make a significant impact, and she has since dedicated herself to mentoring undergraduate students. Dr. Holmes takes great pleasure in breaking down the dental school application process, making it less intimidating for prospective students.

Dr. Holmes has also gained extensive hands-on experience in various facets of the dental field, having worked in dental assisting, management, and advising roles. In these positions, she developed a deep understanding of dental practice operations, patient care, and the complexities of running a successful practice. Her work in management has sharpened her problem-solving skills, while her experience in dental assisting has strengthened her clinical knowledge and ability to connect with others. A natural teacher and mentor, Dr. Holmes enjoys sharing her knowledge and helping others succeed through formal teaching roles. Before pursuing dental school, Dr. Allen attended the University of Utah on an athletic and academic scholarship and pursued pre-dental studies. He then transferred to the University of Texas to complete pre-dental studies and was accepted to UT Health San Antonio. After completing his residency, he went on to practice general and hospital dentistry in San Antonio.

During his time practicing in San Antonio, Dr. Allen also had an adjunct faculty appointment at the dental school in San Antonio in the Department of Hospital Dentistry. After several years practicing in San Antonio, Dr. Allen returned to Salt Lake City and opened a dental practice. Currently, he serves as an assistant professor at Roseman University College of Dental Medicine. As an admissions committee member, he is a reviewer, interviewer, and decision-maker, having evaluated over 500 applications and interviewed more than 100 candidates. 

Dr. Allen is deeply involved in helping shape the next generation of dentists through his teaching, admissions leadership, and mentorship. He lectures nationally on practice management and long-term success strategies for new dental school graduates, and on the American Heart Association, Healthy Smiles Healthy Hearts initiative on blood pressure screening in dental practice settings, of which he also co-authored. Dr. Allen also owns and operates his own private dental practice. 

As an admissions coach, Dr. Allen leverages his mentorship and teaching experience to build meaningful connections with dental applicants. He is adept at identifying key attributes that contribute to shaping a comprehensive and competitive application, drawing from his firsthand knowledge of the admissions process and his experience working with a diverse range of candidates. His warm, supportive approach, combined with his ability to provide personalized guidance and strategic advice, ensures that students receive the tools and resources they need to succeed in their pursuit of a career in dentistry. Students Dr. Allen has coached have attended dental programs at the University of Texas San Antonio, Baylor University, the University of Colorado, Northwestern University, Loyola University, New York University, and other institutions.

Dr. Allen has a track record of successfully mentoring a diverse spectrum of candidates, ranging from non-traditional and re-applicants to those taking gap years. This experience, coupled with his nuanced understanding of the dental school admissions process, makes him an invaluable resource for anyone seeking to craft a comprehensive and competitive application for dental school and dental specialties.

Dr. Bradley earned her BA from Knox College before attending Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, where she obtained her MD and a global health certificate. She went on to complete her family medicine residency at Northwestern McGaw in Grayslake, Illinois. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Bradley now resides in Las Vegas, NV. She currently works as a Principal Investigator at Novum Pharmaceutical Research Services.

Beyond admissions consulting, Dr. Bradley has had a diverse and impactful career in both clinical and research settings. She has worked as a primary care physician and in clinical pharmaceutical research, conducting Phase I clinical trials. She also has extensive experience in community medicine, including working at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a community hospital, serving many patients.

Dr. Bradley believes in helping students break down higher education barriers as they work toward becoming physicians.  Her approach to admissions consulting is structured, hands-on, and encouraging. Dr. Bradley’s experience in medical school and residency admissions provides her with a deep understanding of what top programs look for in applicants as she empowers the next generation of medical professionals. 

Dr. Nguyen has been deeply involved in leadership and mentorship throughout her educational journey. At Wichita State, she served as Secretary of the Pre-Dental Association. During dental school, Dr. Nguyen served as a student interviewer at UMKC for two years, participating in applicant interviews and gaining valuable insights into what dental programs seek in candidates. She also served as Historian on her Class Executive Board, Treasurer of the Student National Dental Association, and as a teaching assistant for Operative II Lab. 

After spending a summer shadowing her uncle in high school, Dr. Nguyen fell in love with the hands-on nature of dentistry, its ability to impact communities, and its long-term career flexibility. While she initially considered pediatric dentistry or oral surgery, she ultimately chose general dentistry to serve a broader population with comprehensive care.

Dr. Nguyen has worked in various clinical settings since graduating and has provided care to patients of all ages. She enjoys educating patients and delivering esthetic treatments like veneers and dentures.

As a coach, Dr. Nguyen is committed to helping students gain admission to their dream dental schools—and succeed once they’re there. She understands the stress and uncertainty of the process and aims to be the mentor she wished she had. One of her recent mentees was accepted into an early admissions program, and she looks forward to helping others achieve the same success.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Roehm earned a DMD with an academic scholarship, following a BS in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated cum laude. He went on to complete a general practice residency at the Lebanon VA Medical Center, gaining experience in complex treatment planning and patient management across multidisciplinary cases.

Throughout dental school, Dr. Roehm’s experience teaching endodontics and dental anatomy, as well as guiding prospective students during dental school interviews, cultivated his interest in mentorship and professional development. These experiences led Dr. Roehm to mentor AEGD residents and participate in the resident interview and selection process at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Milwaukee. 

Having successfully navigated multiple stages of the dental school admissions process, Dr. Roehm offers applicants a distinctive perspective from both sides of the interview table. His strength lies in helping students identify their unique value and translate it into a compelling, cohesive application. As a coach, Dr. Roehm works with each candidate to distill their story and transform large goals into concrete, achievable steps. His approach is grounded in empathy born from firsthand experience.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Esfandiary's academic journey began at the University of Florida, where she pursued a combination of economics and biology. Her exceptional academic performance and passion for research led to her acceptance into the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Summer Research Program. This opportunity allowed her to conduct research at one of the world's largest academic bioengineering labs, setting the foundation for her future in medical research.

Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Esfandiary moved to Boston to continue her bioengineering research at MIT, further honing her skills and expanding her knowledge in this cutting-edge field. Her dedication to research and medicine then led her to the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she completed her medical degree.

Dr. Esfandiary brings with her a wealth of experience in both clinical medicine and research. Her diverse background, spanning economics, biology, bioengineering, and medicine, provides her with a special perspective on healthcare and medical research.

Dr. Esfandiary is passionate about mentoring students and helping them reach their full potential. Her experience navigating the path from undergraduate studies to medical school to residency equips her with valuable advice to share with aspiring medical professionals. She is excited to guide students through the challenges of medical school applications, research opportunities, and career planning in medicine.

Dr. Saw graduated with a BA in biology from Case Western Reserve University before attending Loma Linda University on a scholarship. During her career, she founded and ran Elevated Smiles, a successful private dental practice in San Diego, where she delivered compassionate care with cutting-edge technology.

Dr. Saw founded Light Solutions, a company that integrated luxury brands with dental loupes. She also served on the American Dental Association’s Innovation Advisory Committee of the ADA Board of Trustees and currently serves on the board of Bridge to Health. 

 Dr. Saw is the Founder and CEO of Oral Genome, a biotechnology venture developing saliva‑based diagnostics for early preventive healthcare. She is also the Founder and serves on the Harmony Health Foundation’s Board of Directors. This nonprofit focuses on advancing oral health equity for underserved and Medicaid populations across the U.S.

As a mentor and admissions coach, Dr. Saw brings 10 years of experience helping students get into top dental schools. She has guided applicants to dental schools including Loma Linda University, UCLA School of Dentistry, Western University of Health Sciences (Pomona), and the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, public health advocacy, and commitment to equitable access, Dr. Saw is dedicated to helping aspiring dental professionals navigate their paths with confidence and purpose.

Dr. James’s journey into dentistry was driven by a passion for mentorship, communication, and service. She holds a BA in communication from the University of Connecticut, where she graduated magna cum laude with honors distinctions as a New England Scholar and Communication Honors Scholar. She was also selected as the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences commencement speaker, reflecting her excellence both in and out of the classroom.

Dr. James is currently pursuing a certificate in orthodontics and an MS at the University of Florida. She earned her DMD from the University of Connecticut, where she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, recognizing her outstanding academic achievement and professional character. During her time at UConn, she also received the Dr. Surender Nanda Memorial Orthodontics Award, the Dr. Jeanne Craig Sinkford Student Leadership Award, and the Excellence in Student Leadership Award from the Connecticut Area Health Education Center.

In addition to her role as President of the Student National Dental Association and the local chapter of the American Dental Education Association, she also held the role of social chair for the American Student Dental Association and launched a student-run podcast to highlight real-world issues in healthcare. Dr. James dedicated over 200 hours to community service during dental school, including a trip to Puerto Rico providing oral exams, cleanings, restorations, and extractions, along with ongoing local outreach in Connecticut.

Dr. James’ passion for mentorship took shape early, working as an organic chemistry tutor in college and delivering peer lectures in dental school, and deepened as she mentored high school students from pre-health backgrounds for four years. As a coach, she is especially skilled at helping students tell their stories with honesty and impact, providing thoughtful, structured feedback while meeting students exactly where they are.

Having entered dentistry as a non-traditional applicant herself, with no family background in healthcare and a major in communication, Dr. James understands the self-doubt and uncertainty that can arise on the journey, particularly for students with varied backgrounds. Her coaching style is grounded in strong communication, individualized support, and a belief that every story has value when told with clarity and confidence.
