Dr. Dalamangas is a seasoned veterinarian with a diverse background in small animal medicine, veterinary academia, and telehealth. She earned a DVM from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and currently holds multiple roles in the field, including adjunct faculty at Massasoit Community College and associate veterinarian at Home Heart Vets.

Dr. Dalamangas began her higher education journey at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science and pre-veterinary. During her undergraduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working with animals on the university’s farm, which reinforced her passion for veterinary medicine and confirmed she was on the right path.

At Iowa State, Dr. Dalamangas explored various veterinary tracks, including small and large animal medicine, exotics and zoo animal medicine, and laboratory animal medicine, before deciding to focus on small animal medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Dalamangas returned to Massachusetts, where she has enjoyed a diverse and rewarding career. She has worked in private and corporate small animal practices, vaccine clinics, veterinary telehealth, academia, and in-home pet euthanasia. Her academic contributions include serving as the attending veterinarian at Becker College and as adjunct faculty at Massasoit Community College, where she teaches radiology to veterinary technician students.

As an admissions coach, Dr. Dalamangas offers structured, detail-oriented guidance grounded in practical experience. Her approachable, goal-oriented style empowers students to stay focused and confident throughout the admissions process. 

Through her work with undergraduate students, Dr. Dalamangas has developed a deep appreciation for mentoring aspiring veterinary professionals. She enjoys helping students navigate the path to veterinary school, reminding them that small, consistent steps are what lead to long-term success.
