Undergrad: University of Virginia
Dental School: Harvard School of Dental Medicine
When Priscilla applied to dental school, she received multiple acceptances from top institutions, including Columbia University, UCLA, and the University of Pittsburgh with a full-ride scholarship, before deciding to attend the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Priscilla serves as a pre-dental tutor at Harvard College, supporting undergraduate students through all aspects of the dental school application process and DAT prep. Her goal is to make the process more approachable, especially for students who may not come from traditional science backgrounds themselves. Priscilla’s interdisciplinary liberal arts background shapes her approach to learning and teaching, emphasizing curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of scientific concepts over rote memorization.
Priscilla enjoys helping students master challenging subjects like general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biology, and her strong performance on the DAT informs her tutoring for students preparing for the exam. Students she has tutored have been accepted to dental schools at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, Penn Dental Medicine, and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Beyond academics, Priscilla has a rich array of experiences, including working as an au pair and English tutor in Paris, France, where she deepened her appreciation for the French language and culture. She currently serves as a Graduate Resident Advisor at MIT Housing & Residential Services and has previously worked as a Practice Support Associate at K2 Dental Arts. Priscilla brings a thoughtful, interdisciplinary approach to mentorship, making the DAT process manageable for students from all backgrounds.
