Michael attended Rice University and served as the Head Fellow for his residential college’s Academic Fellows Society, a peer-tutoring organization. He has four years of tutoring experience and has helped dozens of students succeed academically. He is currently performing research on bleeding disorders in both an experimental biochemical laboratory as well as clinical studies among the patient populace.

Michael’s passion for tutoring began at an early age. While in high school, he tutored standardized exams such as the ACT and SAT. While serving as Head Fellow at Rice University, he also served as an organic chemistry and biochemistry fellow. In these roles, he provided academic assistance to students through review sessions, office hours, and personalized tutoring. As a chemistry major, Michael excels at tutoring general chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology. He achieved a top score on the MCAT and looks forward to helping others achieve their target scores.

During his free time, he loves playing tennis, ultimate frisbee, pop piano, and watching horror movies with friends.
