Ian's dentistry journey began in his hometown of Phoenix, AZ, where he attended Arizona State University for one year before his service mission in Chile. Upon returning, he completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University. Ian also gained valuable patient experience working as a technician and medical scribe in an ophthalmology office, further solidifying his passion for healthcare and patient care.

Ian understands how stressful the application process can be, especially for those without family in healthcare. It can be tough knowing which schools to apply to, what is required, and what makes a competitive applicant. Ian wishes he had had someone to help guide him throughout the admissions process to provide clarity and direction.
