Nick grew up in the small town of Oxford, PA, surrounded by cornfields for most of his life. He attended Temple University as a first-generation college student, where he discovered a love for biochemistry. He graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Nick aced the DAT with a 28AA score and matriculated to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Nick’s love for teaching began at Temple, inspired by a TA who helped him during his sophomore year. He went on to become a TA for Organic Chemistry I and II, tutored student-athletes in STEM at Temple’s Resnick Center, and volunteered as a TA and tutor in elementary schools across North Philadelphia. He received the American Chemical Society Scholastic Achievement Award and Otto Kurschner Memorial Award at Temple University, as well as the Abraham and Ruth Clearfield Scholarship and Hazel M. Tomlinson, Ph.D. Memorial Scholarship. During his gap year, Nick worked as a full-time dental assistant at Precision Endodontic Network, developing his clinical skills for dental school.

As someone who knows firsthand the impact of a good mentor, Nick sees tutoring as a way to help students succeed in their studies and build the confidence and problem-solving skills they’ll use long after.
