Undergrad: Brown University
Medical School: Tufts University School of Medicine
Throughout college, Noah received many academic and research accolades. Graduating magna cum laude with departmental honors, he was awarded the Paul C. Cross Prize for being the top physical chemistry undergraduate student at Brown University. He was also deeply involved in computational chemistry/biophysics research, where he applied physics-based computational simulations to understand the molecular mechanisms of diseases such as gout, Niemann-Pick Disease Type C, and antibiotic resistance. He achieved multiple peer-reviewed publications for his research and was awarded the Llealyn B. Clapp Prize for Outstanding Undergraduate Thesis, the Amgen Scholars Award, and the NIH Postbaccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award. In medical school, Noah pursues research at the intersection of neuroimaging and machine learning.
In three years, Noah has worked with more than 100 different students as a general chemistry and organic chemistry teaching assistant at Brown University, and is highly committed to empowering students to reach their academic goals. Having taught students from various backgrounds, his approach to tutoring is unique to each individual, with their own personal strengths and weaknesses, circumstances, and goals.
One of Noah's biggest strengths as a tutor is his ability to personalize his tutoring approach for each student to maximize their learning potential. He aims to create customized study plans for each student that best accommodate their personal schedules, structure sessions tailored to their learning needs, and adjust teaching styles based on what the student finds most effective.
Noah is devoted to helping students thrive not only academically, but also personally. He recognizes that succeeding on the MCAT may require navigating challenges beyond learning study methods or test strategies. For instance, managing stress, balancing extracurricular commitments, dealing with unexpected life events, and maintaining overall wellness are all important components of flourishing as a student and test-taker. By drawing upon experiences from his own MCAT journey, Noah strives to support students to find balance both in and out of their studies.
