Dr. Binyamin Abramowitz, Med School Admissions Consultant at Inspira Advantage

Dr. Abramowitz brings a decade of experience mentoring pre-med and medical students through test prep, academic advising, and application support. He earned his BA through the highly selective BA/MD program at Brooklyn College and graduated with an MD from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He served on his medical school admissions committee as an application reviewer and interviewer.

After medical school, Dr. Abramowitz completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Downstate and is now pursuing a gastroenterology fellowship at Kings County Hospital. In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Abramowitz has a strong research background. He has authored multiple first-author publications and presented at numerous national conferences, contributing to the fields of internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Having served as both an interviewer and application reviewer for SUNY Downstate’s admissions committee, Dr. Abramowitz knows what programs are really looking for. Students he has coached have been accepted to medical programs at SUNY Downstate, New York Medical College, Touro University, and Hofstra University. As a mentor, Dr. Abramowitz brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to each applicant’s story, helping students identify their strengths, address weaknesses, and submit competitive, authentic applications.
