Catherine graduated with a BS with a near-perfect 4.0 GPA before attending medical school. She has a strong research background in hepatology with Stanford Medicine and is currently completing a research year at Rush Midwest Orthopaedics, working on projects related to sleep apnea and shoulder arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction with BMAC, and sports injury outcomes in MLS athletes.
As an MCAT tutor, Catherine has a deep understanding of test content that allows her to break down complex topics and provide strategic test-taking advice tailored to each student’s needs. Catherine’s teaching philosophy is highly personalized, focusing on what each student struggles with rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Her background as a competitive swimmer (former junior Olympic athlete, varsity swimmer, and collegiate competitor) and classically trained pianist has shaped her discipline, attention to detail, and ability to help students build skills with teachable components.
As a tutor, Catherine is realistic, supportive, and committed to helping students achieve their MCAT goals!
