Dr. Cunningham’s impressive career as a PA includes serving as a PA at NUI Langone Medical Center for 14+ years, where she specialised in emergency medicine, robotic surgery, and comprehensive care transitions. She has over 10 years of coaching experience and served on the City College of New York’s PA program admissions committee as an interviewer.

Dr. Cunningham is a distinguished physician assistant and academic trailblazer whose professional journey exemplifies perseverance and excellence. Her educational journey began with a BS in biology from Hampton University before attending the City College University of New York’s PA program. Dr. Cunningham later went on to earn a DMSc from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA. 

Along with her extensive work at NYU Langone, Dr. Cunningham was also the District Lead Advanced Practice Provider at Go Health Urgent Care for six years, and is the Founder and CEO of Millennial Healthcare Professional. 

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Cunningham is deeply committed to mentorship and education. She contributed to the admissions process at City College as an interviewer, evaluating and interviewing applicants. Her mentorship experience spans 12 years, during which she has guided many students through various stages of their healthcare journeys. Students she’s worked with have gained acceptance to PA programs at Emory University, Rutgers University, Howard University, and Touro College, among others.

Dr. Cunningham's approach to mentorship is particularly impactful because of her personal journey as a first-generation college graduate who understands what it means to persevere against the odds. She is not just a practitioner but also an advocate for health equity and community service. She regularly speaks to underserved youth about careers in medicine, opening doors to opportunities many never knew existed. Her work has been recognized in the media, including a feature on the podcast Coach Hope Cook.

Dr. Cunningham's combination of clinical excellence, academic achievement, and heartfelt mentorship makes her an invaluable coach for aspiring healthcare professionals.
