Jay was awarded a merit scholarship at Fairfield to pursue a BS in molecular biology, and the Yale Club of New Haven Graduate Scholarship for PA school. He has contributed to clinical research both during undergrad and PA school, with work published in microPublication Biology and Yale University Library’s digital platform for scholarly publishing, EliScholar. Now a PA, Jay primarily encounters patients facing heart failure, heart attacks, and heart transplants.
As a coach, his dedication to healthcare is matched by a passion for mentorship, particularly working with aspiring physician assistants. He has successfully guided students to programs at institutions like Yale University, CUNY, and Sacred Heart University.
