Stephen H.

During his time at Johns Hopkins University, Stephen earned a Bachelor's Degree in biophysics. He also established himself as an expert tutor in organic and general chemistry, calculus I/II/III, and linear algebra, helping over 100 students significantly improve their exam scores.

Stephen's passion for research is demonstrated through his three-year tenure as a research assistant in a biophysics and biochemistry laboratory, where he investigated the complex roles and mechanisms of cell division proteins in E. coli. His exceptional work in this field was recognized with the prestigious NIH undergraduate research grant, and he currently has a scholarly paper under review.

In addition to his tutoring expertise and research experience, Stephen currently works as a medical assistant at an orthopedics clinic in Baltimore. This hands-on experience in the medical field provides him with insider knowledge and practical information that he can share with his students, helping them to better understand the real-world applications of the concepts covered on the MCAT.
