Having personally experienced the difficulties of pursuing a medical education, Dr. Manansala is passionate about helping others who find themselves on a similar path. He understands the challenges and obstacles that aspiring physicians from diverse backgrounds may face, and he is committed to providing guidance and support to help them achieve their dreams.

Dr. Manansala's educational journey began at Colgate University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language Studies. After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Manansala obtained his MD from The Feinberg School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency at the University of Chicago, Illinois, where he spent over four years honing his skills as a physician. 

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. Manansala is a prolific author with several first-authored publications in the field of rheumatology, particularly in sarcoidosis. His love for teaching and mentorship extends beyond academia, as he has assisted several medical students and residents in publishing their own research projects to prepare for residency applications. His attention to detail and ability to identify an individual's strengths and weaknesses make him an effective counselor.
