At UCLA, Luli worked as an EMT at Falck Ambulance and Evolve Event Medical Solutions, gaining hands-on clinical experience while supporting others in high-stress environments. She was also involved in UCLA’s End Overdose chapter, the Advocating Intersectional Medicine organization, and the Undergraduate Students Association Council.
Luli began tutoring for the MCAT after her own testing experience. Luli managed to improve her MCAT score by a staggering 28 points, which she achieved through months of trial and error, resource evaluation, and disciplined study planning. This personal transformation not only deepened her content mastery but also gave her unique insight into the academic and emotional challenges students preparing for the MCAT face.
As a tutor, Luli draws on her personal experience to meet students with empathy and structure. Having tried countless strategies and resources herself, she is passionate about tailoring her approach to each student’s needs. Luli’s approach to tutoring is characterized by her ability to individualize the studying process for each student. She understands that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, and she works to meet them where they are. By adjusting her methods and curating the most effective resources for each student, she ensures that sessions are personalized and efficient.
