Cesilee began her academic journey at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and gained experience tutoring neurobiology. However, her desire to make a more direct impact on people's lives led her to pursue a career in nursing. She completed an accelerated Bachelor's in Nursing program at East Carolina University in just 12 months. She furthered her expertise by earning a Master's in Nursing Education from East Carolina University. She has over four years of experience in Critical Care and Emergency Nursing, including a Critical Care Nursing certification.
As a nursing educator, Cesilee has extensive experience teaching students at all levels in both clinical and lecture settings. She is passionate about helping students grasp complex nursing concepts and develop the skills necessary to succeed in their future careers. For several years, she has filled roles such as Critical Care Registered Nurse, Clinical Instructor, and Emergency Room Nurse. Her supportive teaching style, combined with her ability to create personalized study plans and adapt to each student's learning preferences, makes her an exceptional mentor for aspiring nurses.
