Dr. Sadeghian’s foundational training was solidified with a pediatric residency at the University of South Alabama, followed by an advanced specialization in Clinical Informatics at the University of Washington. Uniquely, Dr. Sadeghian is North America’s sole pediatrician to hold fellowship training in both Clinical and Biomedical Informatics, setting a high bar in the interdisciplinary field. His leadership journey has seen him play pivotal roles such as serving on the American Academy of Pediatrics Council for Clinical Information Technology executive committee, co-chairing the Southern Medical Association’s Division of Digital Health and Innovation, and holding board positions with NJHIMSS and the Physician Committee at HIMSS. Currently, he merges his passion for pediatrics with cutting-edge AI as the Chief AI Officer at MITConn Advisors.
Dr. Sadeghian’s career is marked by his dedication to healthcare transformation through lean system workflow designs and the strategic implementation and optimization of Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Dr. Sadeghian has held many provided roles where he has provided academic counseling and mentoring to countless students, helping shape the next generation of medical professionals. He has held several academic positions, including Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Rutgers University, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the California University of Science and Medicine, and Clinical Student Academic Advisor at St. George's University.
As a mentor, Dr. Sadeghian takes a personalized approach. His expertise spans medicine, business, and technology, enabling him to offer comprehensive guidance to a diverse range of 60+ students annually, from high school seniors to undergraduate and graduate students, medical students, residents, and fellows. He has helped hundreds of students secure admission to prestigious medical schools.
