Prior to pursuing her DMD at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Asli graduated summa cum laude from Stony Brook University with a BS in biology and developmental genetics, along with a minor in health, medicine, and society. During her time at Stony Brook, she conducted research in oral biology, pathology, and anthropology.
Asli's passion for tutoring began in high school and continued beyond college. In college, she served as an academic coach, teaching organizational and study skills, and as a tutor for courses such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. As President of Stony Brook’s Pre-Dental Society, she initiated a mentorship program for aspiring dentists. In her senior year, she founded a pre-health admissions company, offering mentorship to students applying to PA, medical, and dental schools. Currently, she also works as a DAT tutor.
Having received a 25AA on the DAT, Asli feels prepared to work with students to boost their scores and has extensive experience tutoring using the DAT Booster and Bootcamp interfaces. She excels at taking a student-centered approach to tutoring. She customizes her methods to capitalize on each student’s strengths and address their weaknesses, ensuring they can tackle the DAT.
