Dr Yeager is a member of the American Medical Association and the Sigma Delta Honor Society. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, forensic veterinary science, shelter medicine, veterinary education, and public health. Dr Yeager has worked as a telehealth veterinarian, veterinary instructor, and curriculum developer. She is currently the Deputy Veterinary Administrator at Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center and a veterinary technology instructor at Penn Foster. She also provides veterinary services to shelters, rescues, humane societies, and other organizations in the Chicagoland and Milwaukee areas.
As a counselor, Dr. Yeager is committed to helping students navigate the path to veterinary school and beyond. She has helped students gain admission to programs at Iowa State University, Midwestern University, St. George’s University, and Michigan State University. She leverages her diverse background to guide students through the application process with clarity and confidence. Dr. Yeager enjoys meeting new people, working with students, and helping animals and her community!
