Before attending the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Alex graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s in molecular, cell & developmental biology. Her passion extends beyond dentistry into community engagement, mainly working with underserved populations. She has dedicated her postdoctoral career to becoming a National Health Service Corps Scholar, demonstrating her commitment to providing quality healthcare to those in need.

Alex honed her practical skills as a dental and surgical assistant in private and community clinics, gaining hands-on experience that further enriched her understanding of the dental field. She was also a pre-dental mentor and test prep student ambassador at UCLA and wants to use those experiences to help others achieve their dental school goals.

One of Alex's greatest strengths as a tutor is her broad range of experiences, which have equipped her with an ornate perspective on the dental profession. Additionally, her years of experience as a tutor have enabled her to support students from diverse educational backgrounds in achieving their academic goals.

Since starting to tutor for the DAT, Alex has helped multiple students improve their test scores and feel more confident in their testing abilities.
