Dr. Mabe is a family medicine resident physician at Cone Health. After graduating summa cum laude and with membership in Phi Kappa Phi, he completed medical school in three years at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine as a FIRST Scholar. He founded the Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association at UNC Charlotte and has mentored pre-medical students at UNC Chapel Hill as a medical student.

Dr. Mabe's impressive academic achievements and commitment to helping aspiring medical students are evident through his educational background and mentoring experiences. Growing up in the mountains of northwestern North Carolina, he attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he earned a BS in biology with a minor in chemistry, graduating summa cum laude and with membership in Phi Kappa Phi.

Having completed his medical education at the UNC School of Medicine as a FIRST Scholar in just three years, Dr. Mabe is familiar with the challenges and opportunities faced by aspiring medical students. His experiences as a peer tutor and teaching assistant further add to his ability to guide students through the admissions process and help them achieve their dreams of becoming physicians.

Dr. Mabe has worked with many premedical students in varying capacities on their journey to medical school. He founded the Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association at UNC Charlotte and mentored pre-medical students at UNC Chapel Hill as a medical student. These experiences allowed him to "share the wealth" when it comes to schedule advising, personal statement writing, and interview preparation.

As an admissions consultant, Dr. Mabe excels in early candidacy building for pre-med students, end-to-end admissions counseling, and interview preparation. Additionally, he is skilled at empathizing with students and providing tailored guidance based on their individual needs and goals.
