Dr. Gupta is an interventional radiology resident who graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as an MD Merit Scholar. He has been tutoring for more than eight years, leading numerous students to 520+ scores on the MCAT. Dr. Gupta has also co-founded three startup companies focusing on developing devices to fill technological gaps in interventional specialties.

Dr. Gupta’s higher education journey began at Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biomedical engineering, earning departmental distinction for his exceptional academic performance. Dr. Gupta worked as a bioengineer before attending JHUSOM, a role he continued throughout medical school and residency. Throughout medical school, Dr. Gupta was awarded multiple research grants totaling over $300,000. He was also awarded Best Poster at a Johns Hopkins Medical Student Research Symposium.

Dr. Gupta’s passion for tutoring stems from the support he has received from great mentors throughout his life. Dr. Gupta recognizes the value of having a supportive tutor on this challenging journey, and he is dedicated to providing that same level of support to students.
