Amy pursued her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She served as an undergraduate research assistant at her college for four years. In dental school, Amy helped applicants craft authentic and compelling stories, identifying their key strengths and tailoring narratives to resonate with admissions committees. As an experienced MMI interviewer at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, she understands what top dental schools value and equips students with the confidence and clarity to present their best selves.
As a National Health Service Corps Scholar, Amy received full tuition support along with a stipend. Her leadership spans roles such as President of the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Club, Vice‑President of the Xi Psi Phi Fraternity (where she helped re‑charter the chapter), and Honor Council Liaison. She has also been conducting cutting‑edge pain research with the Emrick Lab, earning national recognition for her presentations.
Amy has developed telehealth workflows at Michigan’s Integrative Special Care Clinic and helps lead Taft Clinic, a free dental clinic for underserved patients. She is passionate about advancing equitable oral healthcare through community engagement, behavioral health integration, and research. Amy also supports outreach through Give Kids A Smile, global service trips to Kenya, and advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill.
As an admissions mentor, Amy takes an individualized, strategic approach to each applicant she works with. She focuses on identifying key strengths and helping students tell authentic, compelling stories through their applications. With a strong eye for narrative structure and detail, she empowers applicants to problem-solve, refine their materials, and confidently present themselves throughout the admissions process. Students Amy has coached have been accepted to dental schools at the University of Michigan, the University of Washington, the University of Illinois, and other institutions.
Amy brings a well-rounded perspective to dental admissions consulting, having successfully applied through both AADSAS and TMDSAS as an out-of-state applicant, earning acceptances to every school she applied to with competitive scholarships to top programs.
