Dr. Ferrer is a resident physician at Mount Sinai Hospital with experience in research, academic leadership, and student mentorship. Following his first year of medical school, he worked as an MCAT instructor for students enrolled in Mount Sinai's Chapter of the North East Regional Alliance (NERA) for Medical Preparation, providing not only MCAT tutoring but also holding one-on-one sessions focused on personal statement writing and application building.

Dr. Ferrer's passion for mentoring and guiding students stems from his own academic journey, which began at SUNY Binghamton. There, he obtained a Bachelor's in Integrative Neuroscience with a minor in Health and Wellness Studies. As an active contributor to several Neuroscience and Nutrition-related research projects, he was invited to present his work at numerous academic conferences across the United States. His involvement in campus life, including holding executive board positions for various social and academic student-run organizations, further demonstrates his leadership skills and commitment to academic excellence.

Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Ferrer has demonstrated a strong commitment to mentoring and guiding students. During his junior year of college, he worked as a science tutor for Binghamton University's athletic department and later took on the role of "At Risk Student Advisor," helping student-athletes meet the minimum academic standards required to compete.

During medical school, Dr. Ferrer continued to excel in research, earning several peer-reviewed publications. He also served as a Chair of the Student High-Value Care Committee, overseeing student-run clinical quality improvement initiatives. After graduating from SUNY Binghamton, he worked as a research coordinator for Columbia University's Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation while completing an M.S. in Health Systems Science from Binghamton University's Watson School of Engineering.

As an admissions consultant, Dr. Ferrer's greatest strength lies in his firsthand experience navigating the medical school application process and his ability to provide personalized guidance to his students.
