Originally from Los Angeles, Dr. Benjamin began her academic journey with a BS in animal and poultry sciences from Tuskegee University. She holds a DVM from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she also earned a Master’s in veterinary science, focusing on immunology and pathobiology. Dr. Benjamin served as Chief of Staff at Banfield Pet Hospital for five years, where she skillfully guided teams and streamlined clinical operations. She went on to serve as an associate veterinarian at Abby Pet Hospital and currently works as the Medical Director of Westchester Veterinary Center & Cat Clinic, combining her clinical expertise with strong managerial acumen. Dr. Benjamin is very passionate about delivering high-quality veterinary care, improving animal health and welfare, and supporting the veterinary community.

Dr. Benjamin has core competencies in preventative health, emergency, oncology, and surgery, as well as attention to detail, professional skills, and professional communication.
