Amanda is an NCCPA-certified physician assistant practicing in orthopaedics at Emory Healthcare. She has worked extensively with the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA), representing them at the annual American Association of Physician Associates House of Delegates meeting and serving as a mentor for prospective physician assistant students.

Amanda completed her undergraduate degree in athletic training from Duquesne University followed by her physician assistant training at Elon University. In her current role at Emory Healthcare, she has made significant contributions to patient care, including the development of a fracture liaison service that connects patients with recent insufficiency fractures to endocrinology for the management of osteoporosis.

Throughout her journey as a PA, Amanda has provided shadowing opportunities and been a valuable resource for students seeking advice on the application process and the profession as a whole. Her enthusiasm for the field and dedication to helping others succeed make her an ideal mentor for those who are passionate about becoming physician assistants.

Amanda's greatest strength as a counselor is her ability to help students identify their own strengths and break down the complex PA school application process into manageable tasks. Drawing from her personal experiences as a swimming coach and her extensive work with GAPA, she is skilled at providing guidance and support to prospective PA students at every stage of their journey.
