Jack has worked in a variety of clinical roles, including as a medical scribe and a rehabilitation technician in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He also contributes to the Soar Autism Center in Denver, supporting young children as they develop social skills through play-based therapy. Jack’s work across teaching, clinical care, and research has strengthened his critical thinking, adaptability, and ability to explain complex topics with clarity and patience.
Jack’s academic achievements are complemented by his success as an elite athlete. He was a Division I student-athlete in cross country and track at Santa Clara, where he won the Pat Malley Award, given to the top male senior athlete. A two-time marathon champion and Olympic Trials qualifier, Jack brings the same discipline and perseverance that fueled his running career into his teaching. He is particularly effective at guiding students through the challenges of preparation with a calm, encouraging, and focused presence.
As an MCAT tutor, Jack draws on his strong academic background and extensive time in both the lab and classroom. He emphasizes strategy, structure, and mental resilience while tailoring his approach to each student’s learning style. His experience balancing the demands of advanced science coursework with athletics has given him a recognizable sense of time management and efficiency—skills he now helps students develop as they prepare for the MCAT.
