Suhas completed a combined BS in biology and MBA at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in just three and a half years, with a perfect 4.0 GPA in both degrees. He serves as an EMT for two different EMS squads, holding a leadership position as a sergeant in one of them. Additionally, he is actively involved in three pre-health clubs, serving as either the president or a board member. He has also accumulated 2,000 clinical hours and over 1,200 hours of research experience with triple-negative breast cancer research.
In addition to his research on triple-negative breast cancer, Suhas has collaborated with leading orthopedic surgeons in the country, devoting over 2,000 hours to orthopedic surgery research with one of the best orthopedic hospitals in the world. This experience not only showcases his passion for advancing medical care but also highlights his ability to work effectively with experienced professionals in the field. His research has culminated in 10 published research items and 1 published research paper in one of the world’s most prestigious Sports Medicine Journals.
As an MCAT tutor, Suhas understands the challenges that aspiring medical school students face and works diligently to help them develop the skills and strategies necessary to succeed on the MCAT. His ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, combined with his patient and supportive teaching style, creates a positive learning environment that encourages students to push themselves and reach their full potential. His tutoring regimen is tailored to each student’s schedule and their other commitments, and he approaches each section of the MCAT, keeping the strengths and weaknesses of students in mind.
Suhas’s greatest strength is his flexibility when it comes to teaching speed, style, approach, and strategy. He understands that different students learn differently, and he doesn’t try to force strategies that don't feel natural to the student. Instead, Suhas keeps an open mind and works with students to find the best way to tackle the problem that is intuitive to the way they analyze questions. He also uses as many analogies, stories, acronyms, and real-life examples as he can to ensure that the content is remembered.
