Anika attended the University of Texas at Austin before pursuing an MD at UT Southwestern Medical School. Anika is a dedicated MCAT tutor with years of experience in guiding students to success. Anika earned a Bachelor’s in biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. She also holds three certificates in medical Spanish, business of healthcare, social inequality, health, and policy. She has extensive teaching experience spanning various fields, including providing piano lessons, teaching taekwondo, and serving as a teaching assistant for a biostatistics class.
Anika graduated as a distinguished college scholar for being in the top 4% of students in her area of study. In medical school, she is consistently in the top 10% of her class. At UT Southwestern, she pursued a dual degree as both an MD candidate and to earn an MPH. She was awarded the Hoffman Scholarship to cover her public health tuition and won the Erin Bain Jones Scholarship to contribute towards her medical education. She also earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Award during her first year as a medical student, demonstrating a strong commitment to service.
After achieving a top 1% MCAT score on her first attempt, Anika was inspired to help other students achieve similar success.
