Harsh attended Nova Southeastern University before matriculating to the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he served as a student admissions committee member. He has mentored several traditional and non-traditional applicants who have gained acceptance to top dental programs at UMichigan, Harvard, UCLA, UCSF, NYU, UF, Howard, and other schools.

Before starting his dental education, Harsh earned a degree in biology at Nova Southeastern University, achieving an impressive 4.0 GPA. He received the Dean's Scholarship and has several publications. He was accepted to over 15 dental schools in the country but ultimately decided on Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

Harsh's drive for mentorship stems from his guidance from several dentists, upperclassmen students, and his school's advising office during his application journey. He strives to employ the same characteristics that benefited him, such as maintaining effective communication, fostering a hard-working mindset, and paying close attention to detail to better assist each student.

When approaching the dental school admissions process, Harsh creates a personalized timeline for each student, ensuring that every application component is thoroughly explained and accounted for. He excels in helping candidates stay organized, brainstorming and outlining the various written elements of the application, and keeping students on track with their projected path. One of the most significant aspects of Harsh's mentorship plan is teaching students how to think strategically and submit their best possible application.

Harsh's approach to admissions counseling is multifaceted. It begins with getting to know the candidate and thoroughly reviewing their profile. After submission, Harsh ensures students stay on top of supplemental applications/essays, interview preparation, and letters of interest/intent.
