Undergrad: Northwestern University
Greta’s academic background is reinforced by hands-on healthcare and research experience. Greta works as an EMT and has served in clinical research roles at Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine and Lurie Children’s Hospital. She has also contributed to molecular biology labs at the University of Missouri. These experiences give her a strong command of the sciences while also deepening her ability to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications.
In addition to her scientific work, Greta has extensive teaching and leadership experience through roles such as leading informal dance classes and co-founding Polerize, a student organization at Northwestern. She brings the same balance of discipline and creativity to MCAT tutoring, helping students not only improve their scores but also develop lasting problem-solving skills and academic confidence.
As an MCAT tutor, Greta is recognized for her empathetic, structured, and creative teaching style. She tailors her sessions to match each student’s unique learning approach, breaking down difficult concepts into multiple levels of explanation. Greta emphasizes mastery of the mechanisms and logic behind the MCAT sciences, ensuring students build both strong foundations and the test-taking strategies necessary for long-term success. Greta’s diverse educational experience has shaped a teaching style that balances analytical thinking with creative communication to help students approach the MCAT with clarity, structure, and confidence (ask about her favorite mnemonic devices!).
Having self-studied for the MCAT, Greta remembers how isolating and overwhelming the process can feel without support. She is dedicated to being the mentor she once wished for—someone who encourages, empowers, and walks beside students every step of the way.
