Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Dr. Nemcevic's journey began when she moved to the United States for college. As a student-athlete on a full athletic scholarship, she excelled in tennis, playing as high as number 1 in singles on the women's team at the University of Washington. Dr. Nemcevic's dedication and hard work extended beyond the court, as she graduated with a BS in cellular, molecular, and developmental biology, achieving an excellent GPA and earning several NCAA athletic-academic awards for her outstanding performance.

Driven by her passion for medicine, Dr. Nemcevic pursued her medical education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She distinguished herself as a top performer in her class, graduating with AOA distinction and receiving numerous research and excellence awards.
