Dr. Gavin-Rae Donaldson, Dental School Admissions Consultant at Inspira Advantage

Dr. Donaldson is an orthodontist, educator, and admissions mentor with over a decade of clinical, leadership, and consulting experience. A graduate of the Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, he completed his residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Howard University. As a Howard University orthodontic resident, Dr. Donaldson participated in the admissions interview process for incoming applicants, assisting with candidate evaluations and providing feedback to the selection committee.

In addition to his orthodontic expertise, Dr. Donaldson brings a broad perspective on dentistry through his roles as Orthodontic Director at Dental Serenity and Senior Clinical Dental Consultant for Sun Life DentaQuest. In these positions, he develops treatment protocols, trains providers, and leads initiatives to improve consistency and quality in orthodontic care. He also served as an orthodontist in both civilian and military contexts, including service with the U.S. Army Reserve’s 7250th Medical Support Unit.

He has helped students get into dental schools such as Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, Howard University College of Dentistry, and the University of Pittsburgh's Dental Hygiene Program.
