Dr. Shah's higher education journey started at Northeastern University, where she graduated summa cum laude from the Honors Program with a BS in health science and minors in global health and law and public policy. While at Northeastern, Dr. Shah served as a Bouve Fellow, guiding first-year college students through the pre-health advising process. Additionally, she participated in research surrounding pediatric injury prevention leading to many publications.

Throughout her journey, Dr. Shah has been interested in public health and health policy which formed the basis of her MPH thesis during medical school. She was elected to be a part of the Graduate Program Student Senate and served as the MD/MPH representative which involved directly reviewing applications on the admissions committee as well as providing tours and offering feedback to the program.

Dr. Shah’s greatest strengths as an admissions counselor lie in her extensive experience with reviewing applications and navigating the admissions process as a first-generation student in medicine. Dr. Shah’s enthusiasm to help the next generation of prospective medical students combined with her extensive knowledge in admissions allows her to be an excellent advisor and mentor for anyone wishing to apply to a medical school.

Dr. Akomeah’s passion for patient care was ignited in her childhood when she would play “doctor” at her mother’s small pharmacy in Ghana. After moving to the United States, Dr. Akomeah became a certified nursing assistant before attaining a BS in biology with a minor in philosophy from George Washington University (GWU), graduating cum laude. She further honed her research and clinical coordination skills during a post-baccalaureate experience at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on obesity research. 

Returning to GWU for medical school, Dr. Akomeah served as President of the Society of Health and Nutrition and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She also pursued global health by volunteering in a clinic in Antigua, Guatemala—an experience that shaped her commitment to caring for diverse patient populations across all age groups.

Drawn to emergency medicine, Dr. Akomeah completed her residency at Carolinas Medical Center (now Atrium Health), where she developed a strong interest in student mentorship. In addition to hosting residency applicants and conducting mock interviews, she credits her own phenomenal mentor for inspiring her to help others succeed. She also led efforts to develop tools to attract a diverse and talented pool of residents for her department and to ensure that a culture of inclusion and awareness was fostered. Following her residency, Dr. Akomeah started a medical education fellowship at the University of Maryland and pursued a Master of Education in health professions at Johns Hopkins University.

Currently, Dr. Akomeah serves as an adjunct professor and Educational Director in her emergency department at the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center, precepting medical students from Caribbean schools and residents in family medicine, internal medicine, and emergency medicine. She is also known for integrating lifestyle medicine into her practice, often coaching patients on how dietary and behavioral changes can help manage or reverse chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. 

Beyond her clinical duties, Dr. Akomeah has published on topics ranging from emergency medicine training in Africa to obesity research, reflecting her commitment to global health and evidence-based practice. 

Dr. Akomeah has continued to mentor residents, undergraduate students, and medical students, as she enjoys assisting students navigate the path to medical school and residency. Her students describe her as an approachable, encouraging mentor who challenges them to develop both strong applications and a deeper understanding of their professional goals. Ultimately, Dr. Akomeah’s guiding principle is to empower each aspiring healthcare professional to identify and highlight their unique strengths, ensuring that every individual she mentors is well-prepared for a successful career in medicine.

Dr. Ramini’s path to medicine reflects both academic excellence and non-traditional depth. After earning a BS in microbiology from the University of California, Davis, in just three years, Dr. Ramini spent three formative gap years gaining hands-on clinical and industry experience. This included working full-time in biopharmaceutical research and as an Eye Recovery Technician, performing independent corneal recoveries for transplant. These experiences shaped his focused interest in ophthalmology and gave him unique insight into the medical field.

During his medical school education at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, Dr. Ramini maintained excellent academic performance while continuing research activities and working as an MCAT tutor and an Eye Recovery Technician. He has been published multiple times in the National Library of Medicine and was awarded the Student Training in Approaches to Research (STAR) Scholarship and Zale Ophthalmology Scholarship.

Dr. Ramini worked as a member of the Loyola SSOM admissions committee to review applications before selecting candidates for interviews. Through his experiences, he gained direct knowledge about the admissions committee evaluation process and how students can differentiate themselves. Students Dr. Ramini has coached have been accepted to multiple top medical schools, including NYU, the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, UCLA, UCSF, and UC Davis, among others 

Dr. Ramini delivers individualized, student-focused guidance to everyone. Through his counseling, he helps students at all stages, from selecting meaningful extracurricular activities to perfecting personal statements and effectively preparing for interviews. Dr. Ramini uses a structured approach to motivate students through personalized guidance that helps them discover their unique narrative.

Dr. Ramini maintains open communication with students through both scheduled meetings and personal contact. His work with diverse students has prepared him to help applicants from all backgrounds achieve success.

Through his strategic approach and individualized support, Dr. Ramini helps students create applications that showcase their authentic, competitive profiles. Under his mentorship, students develop the ability to handle the admissions process with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Dr. Menon’s higher education journey began at the University of Chicago, where he graduated with a BA and departmental honors in history, philosophy, and social science of science and medicine. During college, he served as Program Coordinator for STRIVE, an after-school tutoring program for adolescents with sickle cell disease. Before attending medical school, he earned his MS in bioethics from Harvard Medical School. 

During his medical education, Dr. Menon served as a writing coach and peer tutor. Throughout medical school and residency, he regularly contributed to the Merck Medical Student Manual, spotlighting medical school life and current issues in medicine. He has also earned recognition for his academic achievements, including the American Society of Clinical Pathology's Gold Award and research grants from the Brian Werbel Memorial Fund and the American Heart Association. His written work is featured in prestigious journals such as Hektoen International, the Harvard Medical School Bioethics Journal, The Pathologist, JAMA Cardiology, and the Journal of Clinical Tuberculosis and Other Mycobacterial Diseases.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Menon has presented scientific work at major conferences, including the American Epilepsy Society, the American Society of Microbiology, and the Society of General Internal Medicine's annual meetings. His dedication to medical education earned him induction into the Feinberg Academy of Medical Educators Trainee section, where he contributes significantly to the training of first-year medical students.

As a counselor, Dr. Menon excels in providing comprehensive support to aspiring medical students and residents. His involvement with platforms like Inside the Match and MatchToPath allows him to share his expertise in personal statement development, resume building, and interview preparation. His methodical approach ensures that each student receives personalized guidance tailored to their specific needs and aspirations.

Dr. Menon brings a wealth of experience in mentoring and academic excellence, guiding aspiring students through the complex application process. His methodical mentorship style involves tailoring individualized plans based on each student’s goals and unique backgrounds, helping them develop compelling application packages.

Dr. Menon's commitment to mentoring and education, combined with his extensive experience in clinical pathology and medical research, positions him well to guide the next generation of doctors. Dr. Khurana completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University, majoring in neuroscience. He then attended the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, graduating as part of the inaugural class at the Arizona campus. His academic path has been characterized by a series of steps forward and continuous self-discovery, always seeking to find his niche in healthcare that energizes him and allows him to co-create something better with his peers.

During medical school, Dr. Khurana was awarded a grant from the Mayo Clinic to design AI/NLP solutions for the patient portal in the electronic health record (EHR). He collaborated with NLP researchers across the enterprise to advance this technology. Additionally, he engaged with the Care Collaboratory, a network of healthcare leaders and innovators, where he learned and taught design thinking to redesign healthcare with a human-centered approach.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Khurana has been extensively involved in research, ranging from computational neuroscience in undergrad to artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and health services research in medical school. His research prowess is evidenced by numerous publications in these areas, and he continues to be academically productive.

Dr. Khurana gained experience as an internal medicine resident in PGY-1 at Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance before starting his radiology residency. His research experience includes work at Mayo Clinic's Minimally Invasive Therapeutics Laboratory and the Precision Neurotherapeutics (PNT) Innovation Program, where he was involved in data science and machine learning projects related to glioblastomas.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dr. Khurana enjoys trail running through Phoenix's mountain preserves, cycling, and curating music playlists. He measures a good day by having more energy at the end of it than at the beginning.

Dr. Khurana's goal is to contribute to the eventual redesign of healthcare, combining his medical expertise with his passion for innovation and technology. His diverse experiences and forward-thinking approach position him as a knowledgeable mentor and promising future leader in the field of radiology and healthcare innovation.

Dr. Winn holds a Bachelor’s degree in laboratory animal science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Master's degree in animal science from Auburn University. She graduated with a DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, completing her clinical year at Ohio State University. Dr. Winn also completed residency training in Laboratory Animal Medicine at the NYU-Regeneron postdoctoral training program. Additionally, she has spent two years working as a clinical veterinarian at Georgetown University. She has experience with various species, including rodents, rabbits, ferrets, pigs, and non-human primates. Her background includes working with animal models used to study immunology, infectious disease, behavior, and neurobiology.

Dr. Winn enjoys training and educating staff with varying levels of experience in veterinary medicine. After graduating from veterinary school, she collaborated with Ross University to guide potential applicants and incoming students, offering advice on living abroad, navigating the application process, adjusting to life in St. Kitts, and managing a rigorous veterinary school schedule. She has also served on the NYU-Regeneron LAM Residency interview committee and currently interviews prospective veterinary technicians and managers at Georgetown University. These experiences have equipped her to be an excellent admissions counselor.

Dr. Winn is passionate about guiding applicants through veterinary school admissions and lab animal medicine residency programs, helping them achieve their goals and build successful careers. As a coach, she excels at creating structured task timelines that anticipate potential delays, streamlining the complex application process. Dr. Winn is highly analytical, using evidence-based methods to help students refine their approach while remaining approachable and creating a relaxed, conversational atmosphere to ensure every student feels supported. She invests time in understanding each student on a deeper level to address their concerns, identify their weaknesses, and highlight their strengths. 

Before beginning his residency, Dr. Kolli earned his MD degree from the University of Michigan and his MPH from Harvard University. With experience at various prestigious institutions across the country, Dr. Kolli is well-equipped to assist applicants interested in schools in any region.

During his time at the University of Michigan Medical School, Dr. Kolli achieved 100th percentile scores on the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 board exams, received the Charles and Phyllis Lowe Merit Scholarship, was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society, and graduated with Distinction in Research Honors. He has conducted a wide array of research at both Michigan and Harvard, resulting in numerous publications and academic conference presentations in fields such as ophthalmology, epidemiology, and health economics. Dr. Kolli has also worked as a consultant in the biotechnology industry, helping move new drugs toward FDA approval.

As an admissions coach, Dr. Kolli's strengths lie in his diverse academic interests and ability to help applicants from varied backgrounds craft a cohesive narrative about their experiences. Having navigated the medical school admissions process himself and co-founded The Lens, an educational resource for aspiring ophthalmologists, he is passionate about guiding applicants in telling their stories.

Dr. Parsons brings a wealth of academic and professional experience to aspiring medical students. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, graduating with honors and selection into the prestigious AOA honor society. His journey began at the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology with a minor in cellular biology while excelling as a letterman on the football team and consistently earning SEC Academic honors.

Dr. Parsons' passion for medicine and mentoring was ignited through his diverse experiences. After his undergraduate studies, he worked as a Lead Exercise Physiologist at Delta Air Lines, directing their summer internship program. This experience inspired him to pursue a Master of Science in medical physiology from Case Western Reserve University, where he served as an academic advisor for students completing their master’s degree and applying to medical school. 

His commitment to diversity in medicine is evident in his efforts to revive and grow his campus chapter of the Student National Medical Association at the Medical College of Georgia. As president, he partnered with the Minority Student Science Association, the school’s largest pre-medical minority student organization. He organized mentoring sessions on MCAT prep, AMCAS applications, and scheduled in-person tours of the medical school to show minority students a path to success.

Dr. Parsons' academic achievements further exemplify his excellence. He was selected for multiple honor societies, including Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi, and received numerous awards. His research contributions, particularly in orthopedic spine patient-reported outcome measures, resulted in over 50 publications, podium presentations, and posters by the end of medical school.

As a counselor, Dr. Parsons excels in providing comprehensive guidance to students at various stages of their medical journey. His approach to medical school admissions counseling is meticulous and strategic, focusing on building strong professional relationships with students and highlighting their strengths. His experience on admissions committees and collaborations with admissions counselors have given him insider strategies for what medical schools seek in candidates, allowing him to provide tailored advice to aspiring physicians.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Parsons demonstrates a genuine passion for guiding students. He approaches each interaction with openness and eagerness to learn about the students he works with, recognizing that the journey to medical school is as much about personal growth as academic achievement. His diverse background, from athletics to corporate experience to medical practice, allows him to offer different perspectives.

Dr. Parsons continues to balance his career as an orthopedic surgery resident with his commitment to mentoring. He strives to help eager students advance their professional aspirations, working tirelessly to assist them in achieving their academic and career dreams in the field of medicine.

As a competitive high school swimmer and crew team member, Dr. Xu honed his discipline and teamwork skills, which later translated to his success as a Division I athlete at Columbia University. Pursuing a major in biology on the pre-med track, he maintained an impressive 3.8 cumulative GPA while balancing his athletic commitments and community involvement.

During his time at Columbia, Dr. Xu's passion for helping others shone through his volunteer work at the Crime Victims Treatment Center, where he provided support to survivors of domestic violence in the Emergency Department. Recognizing the importance of health education, he taught classes in under-resourced high schools through Peer Health Exchange. 

Dr. Xu also spent two years as a research assistant at Columbia, studying the effect of chronic stress on the developmental fate of stem cells, before spending two years as a Contemporary Biology Lab teaching assistant. Additionally, he spearheaded the Columbia chapter of Camp Kesem, organizing a transformative summer camp for children whose parents were battling cancer.

After graduating from Columbia, Dr. Xu began his gap year to improve his skills further and gain new experiences. He conducted bench research at NYU's Department of Biochemistry, deepening his understanding of the scientific foundations of medicine, before scoring in the top 0.01% of MCAT takers. Simultaneously, he provided private tutoring services across Manhattan, honing his ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.

At NYU, Dr. Xu discovered his passion for urology after shadowing several surgical specialties. He has recently secured a prestigious position at Case Western University Hospitals for a genitourinary reconstruction and gender affirmation fellowship.

As a first-generation physician and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Dr. Xu brings a different perspective to his role as a mentor and advisor. He recognizes that each student's journey to medical school and beyond is deeply personal and shaped by their individual experiences and background. His ability to connect with and support a diverse range of applicants sets him apart as a trusted guide and advocate for aspiring medical professionals.

Before her time at Rutgers, Dr. Altchek completed her undergraduate education at Harvard University, where she graduated with Latin honors with a top GPA. She excelled as a four-year Division I varsity athlete on the Harvard softball team, winning an Ivy League Championship and participating in the NCAA tournament. She became an expert in time management with a grueling academic and athletic schedule, as well as perseverance and dedication to all her varied pursuits through her time at Harvard.

At Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Altchek was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She was dedicated to her work in the community, creating and implementing a unique mental health and wellness curriculum in a local high school health class. She was recognized for her achievements and graduated with Distinction in Service to the Community. She also received multiple grants and scholarships from the Jewish Federation of Philadelphia in recognition of her academic and service commitment throughout medical school.

Dr. Altchek was heavily involved in medical education and the student experience at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson, serving as an elected member of the Student Government Association as well as being selected as a student representative on the medical school’s admissions committee. She acted as an interviewer and played an active role in selecting incoming medical school students and future physicians, where she learned what makes and sets apart the best medical school candidates.

Now a resident physician, Dr. Altchek continues to pursue her passion for medical education and mentorship by guiding students through applying to medical school and residency. As the first medical professional in her family, she appreciates the importance of having a thoughtful, knowledgeable guide through the application process. Students she has coached have been accepted to Harvard Medical School, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Washington University School of Medicine, UMass Chan School of Medicine, Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, and others. 

One of Dr. Altchek’s greatest strengths as an advisor is her friendly, welcoming demeanor and open communication style. She is warm and inviting, enabling students to be their true and honest selves and put their best foot forward in the application process. Dr. Simmons’ journey in the field of dentistry began at the University of Michigan, where she earned a BS in biopsychology, cognition, and neuroscience, laying a solid foundation for her future pursuits. Continuing her journey, Dr. Simmons attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, widely regarded as one of the top-ranked dental schools in the United States and the world. 

After graduating with her DDS, Dr. Simmons continued to expand her knowledge and skills by completing an advanced education in general dentistry residency. This additional training has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the field and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

With years of coaching and tutoring experience, Dr. Simmons has honed her skills in mentoring and supporting aspiring dental students. Throughout her time in dental school, she served as a student mentor, sharing her knowledge and insights with those following in her footsteps. Her dedication to helping others enter the profession is driven by her belief in the importance of providing a diverse and talented pool of dental professionals.

Dr. Simmons prides herself on tailoring her approach with each student to make them as successful as possible. Dr. Stein, a native of Manhattan, NYC has always been driven by her passion for dentistry and her desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. Her journey began at Emory University, where she followed a pre-dental track and earned a BS in biology. Her exceptional academic performance led her to the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded a Dean's Merit Scholarship in recognition of her outstanding achievements both inside and outside the classroom.

During her time at Penn Dental, Dr. Stein discovered her true calling in the field of orthodontics. Her fascination with the intricacies of dental alignment and her desire to help patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles propelled her to apply to some of the most competitive orthodontic residency programs in the country. Through her hard work, dedication, and impressive track record, Dr. Stein secured a spot at her top choice—Columbia University's Orthodontic Residency Program.

Dr. Stein has navigated multiple application cycles, interview processes, and a series of rigorous exams, gaining invaluable experience and insight along the way. Having overcome these obstacles herself, she developed a strong desire to help other students facing similar challenges in their pursuit of a career in dentistry. One of Dr. Stein's greatest strengths is her exceptional organizational skills and her commitment to efficiency. She takes pride in creating prioritized to-do lists, breaking down complex tasks into manageable steps, and collaborating with students to ensure that they can complete their applications and requirements in a way that is both efficient and minimally overwhelming. Dr. Mullikin began her journey toward becoming a physician at the University of California, Davis, earning a BS in cellular and molecular biology. Following graduation, she spent three years as a research coordinator at a community hospital, gaining hands-on experience in the healthcare field and solidifying her decision to pursue medicine. 

During her time at Duke, Dr. Mullikin developed a strong interest in plastic surgery and actively engaged in various leadership positions and research projects across multiple specialties.  Besides serving on the Duke School of Medicine admissions committee, Dr Mullikin served as the Vice President of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Student Body Council, reflecting her commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive academic environments.  

Recognizing the evolving responsibilities of physicians in today's healthcare landscape, Dr. Mullikin decided to simultaneously pursue an MBA at Duke's Fuqua School of Business, further improving her ability to navigate the complex intersection of medicine and business. She was the recipient of multiple scholarships during her educational journey, including the Bovender Family/HCA Minority Scholarship at Duke's Fuqua School of Business and both the Dean's Merit Scholarship and the Franklin and Louise Brown Medical Scholarship at Duke University School of Medicine.

Dr. Mullikin has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and innovation in healthcare. Her research contributions have been recognized with awards, including the Best of 2023 Winter Meeting Oral Podium Presentation from the American College of Academic Plastic Surgeons. Her diverse experiences, from research coordination to her involvement in various medical specialties, have given her a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare system and its challenges.

As the daughter of immigrants and the first person in her family to attend college, Dr. Mullikin personally experienced the challenges of navigating the medical school application process. This experience fueled her passion for making the process more accessible to students, a goal she actively pursued through her role on the admissions committee at her medical school. . Her combination of medical expertise, business acumen, and personal experiences position her as a great mentor to aspiring medical professionals. 

Dr. Mika began her higher education journey at Pennsylvania State University, where she majored in veterinary and biomedical science and minored in poultry and avian science. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Mika engaged in various activities, including working in a small mammal virome research lab and tutoring students in organic chemistry. 

Driven by her passion for veterinary medicine, she went on to attend the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Participating in an internship at an equine referral hospital, she gained hands-on experience managing emergency cases and assisting with surgeries daily. During her time at UPenn, she developed a particular interest in equine medicine, which has since become a central focus of her clinical work. While in vet school, Dr. Allison was the recipient of numerous recognitions, including the Student Anesthesia Award from the North American Veterinary Anesthesia Society.

As a coach, Dr. Mika is committed to providing students with the guidance, support, and resources they need to succeed in the veterinary school application process. She works closely with each student to develop a customized schedule that allows ample time for brainstorming, drafting, and refining their application materials. She recognizes that every student has different priorities, interests, and strengths, and works closely with each individual to identify programs that align with their specific needs and objectives. 

Another key aspect of Dr. Mika's advising approach is her focus on helping students craft applications that accurately reflect their true identities and experiences. She understands that the most compelling applications are those that highlight a student's qualities, achievements, and passion for veterinary medicine. To this end, she works diligently with students to highlight their strengths, refine their personal statements, and ensure that their applications present a holistic and authentic picture of who they are as individuals and aspiring veterinarians.

During her undergraduate years, Dr. Malone gained valuable experience working as a direct care professional in a group home for adults with disabilities. This role not only exposed her to the challenges and rewards of providing care to vulnerable populations but also strengthened her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others through healthcare.

Dr. Malone is currently conducting research at the intersection of women's health and diabetes prevention. As a peer tutor with years of experience helping medical students and teaching biology to college students, Dr. Malone has honed her ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and provide the support and guidance students need to excel academically. Her recent recognition as a Head Tutor at her medical school is a testament to her exceptional teaching skills. 

Dr. Malone also has experience helping out-of-state students earn acceptance to schools throughout the country. Her time on the student admissions team at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, recognized as one of the most competitive states for medical school admissions, has equipped her with a deep understanding of what it takes to stand out in a highly competitive applicant pool. 

One of Dr. Malone's greatest strengths is her ability to help students craft a powerful narrative throughout their medical school application. She works closely with each student to identify their strengths and experiences, using this information to create a compelling story that captures the attention of admissions committees.

Dr. Knight's journey in the field of veterinary medicine began at the University of Vermont, where she received her BS in animal science and music performance. She also minored in chemistry and zoology, and served as an admissions ambassador This solid foundation in animal science laid the groundwork for her future success in veterinary school and her commitment to providing exceptional care to animals.

Dr. Knight is a highly skilled and compassionate veterinarian dedicated to delivering exceptional care to her patients. With a strong foundation in both clinical expertise and empathetic client communication, she excels in general surgery and internal medicine, with a particular focus on endocrinology and neurology. Before her current role, she honed her skills in farm animal medicine, gaining valuable experience at prestigious institutions such as Cambridge University. With firsthand experience in applying to both domestic and international veterinary schools, Dr. Knight possesses an in-depth understanding of the vet school application process and insights into international standardized testing requirements. Before pursuing higher education in dental medicine, Dr. Gramacy graduated from the University of Florida (UF) with a BS in applied physiology and kinesiology with a minor in Spanish. She received multiple scholarships at UF, including four years of being named to the University of Florida Dean’s Academic Honor List and being selected for the President’s Honor Roll and the State of Florida Academic Scholars Award

Dr. Gramacy also has a robust academic and clinical research background, beginning in her undergraduate years and continuing through dental school and residency. Her work spans oral medicine, oral health policy, behavioral neuroscience, and periodontology. She has presented her findings at multiple regional and national venues, including the International Association for Dental Research (IADR), the San Francisco Dental Society, and UCSF Research and Clinical Excellence Day. She recently presented at the national Northeastern Implant Symposium, where she lectured on contemporary sinus lift techniques and the evolving criteria for simultaneous implant placement.

Dr. Gramacy worked in the Office of Admissions and Outreach at UCSF and Columbia, gaining extensive, behind-the-scenes insight into the admissions process. Her responsibilities included processing applications for pre-doctoral and post-graduate programs, coordinating official interview days, and managing and leading the 100+ member Student Ambassador Program. These experiences provide her with a clear understanding of what admissions committees value in strong and competitive applicants. She has also served as an interviewer for the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine’s periodontics residency. 

As a counselor, Dr. Gramacy is known for her efficiency, clarity, and direct yet supportive coaching style. Her combined experience in admissions operations, interview-day leadership, and student mentorship allows her to identify an applicant’s strengths quickly and help them articulate their story with confidence and precision. With a comprehensive background in clinical periodontics, academic leadership, multilingual patient care, and research, Dr. Gramacy offers a uniquely informed perspective to guiding applicants through the dental school and dental residency application process. Dr. Worthington’s passion for veterinary medicine began at a very young age when her love of animals and her interest in science collided, spending summers on her family farm with her beloved horse. While finishing her undergraduate degree, Dr. Worthington completed many diverse experiences to round out her academic achievements, which included interning at Carolina Tiger Rescue, working as a kennel and veterinary assistant in a busy small animal practice, an honors research project on nutrition in Angus cattle, and working as an equine veterinary technician.

At North Carolina State University, Dr. Worthington was a member of the University Scholar's Program and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) Honors Program. She was also a member of the Pre-Veterinary Medical Association, Animal Science Club, and CALS Ambassador Program. She was also inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and received the Kleinfelder Academic Scholarship Legacy Award.

During vet school, Dr. Worthington elected to serve her community by becoming the President of the Companion Animal Wellness Club and Committee Chair for the 24th Annual Dog Olympics. The 24th Annual Dog Olympics was held at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine and raised money for local rescue groups. She also received several scholarships, including the Boddie-Noell Foundation Scholarship, Callis Memorial Scholarship, and Meade Scholarship.

Before transitioning into advising, Dr. Worthington applied her clinical skills and practiced as a small animal associate veterinarian. She later leveraged her expertise in claims and underwriting roles with Nationwide Pet Insurance and MetLife Pet Insurance/Hays Talent Solutions. These experiences deepened her appreciation for the broader impact veterinarians can have beyond traditional practice and informed her holistic approach to counseling.

As a coach, Dr. Worthington’s greatest strengths are her empathy, compassion, dedication, and attention to detail. Her outgoing nature allows her to easily connect with both people and pets alike. Her unique background and non-traditional veterinary roles allow her to easily discuss all the possibilities a DVM can unlock for pre-vet applicants. Students Dr. Worthington has coached have been accepted to vet schools at North Carolina State University, Lincoln Memorial University, and Ross University.

Dr. Worthington is driven by the belief that veterinary medicine is more than just becoming an individual clinical veterinarian—it’s about a collective group working together to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them. Coaching pre-vet students allows her to ensure that the future of veterinary medicine is bright by shepherding in a diverse, passionate, and dedicated group of future veterinarians.

Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Dr. Nemcevic's journey began when she moved to the United States for college. As a student-athlete on a full athletic scholarship, she excelled in tennis, playing as high as number 1 in singles on the women's team at the University of Washington. Dr. Nemcevic's dedication and hard work extended beyond the court, as she graduated with a BS in cellular, molecular, and developmental biology, achieving an excellent GPA and earning several NCAA athletic-academic awards for her outstanding performance.

Driven by her passion for medicine, Dr. Nemcevic pursued her medical education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She distinguished herself as a top performer in her class, graduating with AOA distinction and receiving numerous research and excellence awards. During a research year fellowship at the Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology, Dr. Nemcevic conducted both bench and clinical research in dermatology, and her work led to the publication of over 40+ papers, posters, and book chapters covering topics such as wound healing, hair loss, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, and nail disease.

After completing her transitional internship year at Osceola Medical Center-UCF Florida in Orlando, Dr. Nemcevic started her residency in dermatology at NYU Langone in Manhattan, NY, an internationally recognized program renowned as one of the leading dermatology programs in the world.

Throughout her educational journey, Dr. Nemcevic has been deeply committed to mentoring aspiring students, including those facing challenges as international students. She understands the obstacles candidates encounter and is dedicated to helping them believe in their dreams and navigate the path to success. Her mentorship and support have played a pivotal role in guiding students toward fulfilling careers in medicine.

As an immigrant herself, Dr. Nemcevic went through the process of exploring, learning, and applying for medical school and dermatology residency, often with limited guidance. Her personal experience has made her well-versed in the intricacies of the application process and the challenges that aspiring medical professionals face. 

With her expertise, Dr. Nemcevic offers comprehensive guidance and consulting services to aspiring students, helping them navigate the complexities of the medical field, achieve their goals, and excel in their careers. She is dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of medical professionals and students by providing exceptional support.

Dr. Stone began his academic journey at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where he graduated with a double major in biomedical sciences and pre-clinical health sciences. While at UCF, he was actively involved as an orientation leader, resident assistant, and biology tutor.

Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Stone received acceptances from several prestigious institutions but chose the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he was awarded the Dean’s Diversity Full Cost of Attendance Scholarship, covering the entire cost of attendance for four years of medical school. Upon graduation, Dr. Stone matched into a residency position at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, one of the nation’s top ophthalmology programs accepting only six residents per year.

Dr. Stone has an extensive research portfolio that includes studies on the impact of social determinants on health outcomes, advancements in diabetic retinopathy screening, and innovative approaches to addressing barriers in eye care. He has been published in multiple journals such as the Journal of Vascular Surgery, the Journal of Prehospital Emergency Care, and the Journal of Academic Ophthalmology, with multiple first-author manuscripts. His presentations at national conferences, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, highlight his ability to translate complex topics into actionable insights.

As an admissions coach, Dr. Stone leverages his firsthand understanding of the challenges applicants face at every stage of the process. Drawing on his experience from both sides of the admissions table, he offers a personalized, compassionate approach.
