As an admissions committee member at Midwestern University, Dr. Avezova reviewed hundreds of applications, interviewed prospective students, and facilitated admissions tours as a student ambassador. At UCLA, she advised pre-dental students and reviewed applications, giving her deep insight into what competitive dental schools seek in strong candidates. Throughout her career, she has combined clinical practice, academic research, and student mentorship to guide future generations of dentists. Today, Dr. Avezova practices in both private clinics and federally qualified health centers, with additional expertise in teledentistry, peer review, and consulting.

At UCLA, Dr. Avezova’s research in tumor immune surveillance, biomarker profiling of oral squamous cell carcinoma, and evidence-based dentistry led to multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals, including Bioinformation and The Open Dentistry Journal. She was awarded the Van Trees Scholar distinction, and presented her work at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). 

In dental school, she was awarded the Oral Biology Award by the American Association of Oral Biologists and completed a prestigious fellowship with the Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program, where she lectured on dental anatomy and further developed her teaching skills. Throughout her dental school experience, Dr. Avezova contributed to the local chapter of the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) with leadership roles as a Legislative Liaison for the Executive Counsel, Editor-in-Chief for the electronic blog, and Publications Chair for the quarterly newsletter. Additionally, she volunteered her time with the Give Kids a Smile Program, where she provided comprehensive dental care to pediatric patients in the community.

Beyond academics, Dr. Avezova has held numerous leadership roles in organized dentistry. She was voted into several positions throughout the last decade, including Zone Director, CDA Delegate, Executive Board Vice President, and ultimately President/Chair of the Board. She has participated in or chaired several committees, including the New Dentist Committee, Membership Committee, Governance Task Force, and the Allied Dental Health Scholarship Review Committee. On a state level, Dr. Avezova has held several roles in the California Dental Association, including the Board Composition Workgroup, the Leadership Development Committee, the Leadership Discovery Program, and the House of Delegates. She is also a Dental Assistant Advisory Board member and Oral Health Representative for the San Gabriel Unified School District Wellness Council.

Along with her extensive expertise in the dental field, Dr. Avezova has experience in teledentistry, dental consulting, independent medical review, and peer review. Her contributions to the profession were recognized with induction into the International College of Dentists, an honor given to only 3% of dentists nationwide.

Dr. Avezova has always been passionate about student mentorship and guiding the next generation of dentists. She has hosted lectures for Health Occupations Students of America, advised students in the College-to-Career Program through the Riordan Scholars Program at UCLA, and mentored students through the Business Success Program at USC.

Dr. Dalal has experience navigating both TMDSAS and AMCAS and is especially equipped to help Texas applicants. Additionally, he served as an interviewer for the admissions committee and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and knows how interviews are evaluated and what sticks out on an application.

Dr. Pammal's passion for healthcare and leadership began during his undergraduate years at Harvard University, where he studied history of science, global health, and health policy. While at Harvard, he served as Director-General of Harvard Model United Nations, an Executive Board Member of the South Asian Healthcare Leadership Forum, and wrote his senior thesis on healthcare reform for prescription drug pricing.

After graduating from Harvard, Dr. Pammal gained experience as a consultant at Clarion Healthcare, a life sciences consulting firm in Boston, MA. There, he provided strategic advice to pharmaceutical and biotech companies across the clinical development spectrum. Despite his demanding work schedule, he remained committed to community service, volunteering in the hospital lobby at Massachusetts General Hospital on weekends.

While at NYMC, Dr. Pammal was selected to deliver the student remarks at various ceremonies and events. Upon graduation,  he was awarded the prestigious William Cullen Bryant Award for outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and service to the College's community.

Dr. Pammal strongly believes in the power of mentorship and is passionate about serving as an enthusiastic guide to the next generation of future physicians. Drawing from his own experiences and the advice he has received over the years, he is committed to helping aspiring medical students achieve their dreams and make a positive impact in the field of medicine.

Dr. Go completed a BS in pre-medical studies at the University of Hawaii. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous academic awards, including the full-tuition Hawaii Pacific University President’s Scholarship, the Fischer Scholarship, the Celia Goldberg Endocrinology Scholarship. He also received multiple research honors, such as the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) Undergraduate Research Presentation Award and “Dr. Kosasa’s Award” for Best Overall Research Presentation. He is also a member of the Alpha Chi and Beta Beta Beta National Honor Societies and was recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Philipino Students of Hawaii.

Beyond clinical practice and teaching, Dr. Go has served in key leadership positions, including Medical Director of Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain and Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee in the Department of Anesthesia at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He has also worked there as an assistant professor and continues to remain active in research, with eight publications accessible through the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Go currently works as an interventional pain physician at Advanced Spine and Pain (ASAP). 

With 10 years of mentorship experience, Dr. Go emphasizes empathy, active listening, and individualized guidance. He recognizes that each applicant brings unique life experiences, strengths, and goals, and he tailors his mentorship accordingly rather than relying on prescriptive approaches.

He also serves as a subject matter expert for McGraw-Hill Medical Education, where he drafts and reviews USMLE Step 1 content. His broad experience in clinical care, medical communication, and admissions uniquely positions him to guide students with precision and confidence. 

As an admissions coach, Dr. Davis draws on extensive experience mentoring a wide range of students. He approaches coaching with a focus on clarity, structure, and helping applicants craft compelling, authentic narratives that reflect their strengths and readiness for medical training. Dr. Davis is deeply committed to “paying it forward” by supporting the next generation of physicians. He enjoys helping students navigate the complexities of medical training, refine their professional identities, and enter the field with purpose and resilience.

Dr. Hong’s years of mentoring experience have helped her understand how to help students create competitive profiles to maximize their acceptance chances. With a Bachelor's in international affairs from Georgetown University and five years of experience as a Science Program Analyst at the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Hong's journey to medicine was far from conventional. A chance encounter with a doctor sparked her interest in the field, leading her to complete a post-baccalaureate program while working full-time. 

Her determination and hard work paid off,  receiving multiple acceptances from medical schools across the country. She ultimately chose to attend Emory University School of Medicine. During medical school, Dr. Hong hosted multiple applicants who came for interviews. Throughout her four years of medical school, she also coordinated a free women's clinic for low-income individuals and was a peer mentor for the OB/GYNOB-GYN clerkship.

Dr. Hong recognizes the importance of having insider knowledge of the application process and is committed to sharing tips and common pitfalls with students to help them navigate the challenges of medical school and residency applications. She has mentored several medical students and pre-medical students applying for programs, helping them plan their schedules and strategize letters of recommendation.

Before veterinary school, Dr. Tierce's academic path was unconventional, majoring in what she humorously describes as "music and horses." Initially aspiring to become an equine veterinarian, a serendipitous lab job altered her career trajectory, sparking a passion for research that has defined her professional journey.

During veterinary school, she completed a biomedical research fellowship at Stanford University, focusing on radiation treatment of metastatic breast cancer. Her undergraduate and veterinary school years in Colorado involved work at one of NASA's specialized centers, studying the long-term effects of space irradiation on cancer development. In her final year of veterinary school, she received a Center for Companion Animal Studies grant to evaluate the efficacy of radiation therapy for treating soft tissue sarcomas in canine patients.

Dr. Tierce’s decision to pursue a residency in laboratory animal medicine post-graduation allowed her to expand her expertise in animal models of human disease while advocating for the humane use of animals in research. This specialization aligns with her commitment to advancing medical knowledge while ensuring the ethical treatment of research animals.

At Columbia University, Dr. Tierce plays a vital role in the Institute of Comparative Medicine Residency Program, focusing on onboarding and training new residents. Her professional interests span animal ethics, clinical microbiology, soft tissue surgery, and non-human primate medicine.

Dr. Tierce's experience extends to the admissions process for veterinary programs. Dr. Kessler attended Johns Hopkins University for her undergraduate studies in pre-med and French. While at Johns Hopkins, she led the JHU Medical Ethics Discussion Panel and worked in a neurology and neurosurgery research lab. She then attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC and graduated with distinction in research. While at Mount Sinai, Dr. Kessler was the recipient of numerous awards, including a merit-based tuition scholarship for all four years of medical school.

While in medical school, Dr. Kessler founded the Special Forces Neurosurgery Collaborative with neurosurgeons from Mount Sinai, Cleveland Clinic, and the leadership of the US Green Beret Foundation, which is an organization that spearheads neurosurgery research initiatives geared towards addressing the unique healthcare needs of America's Special Forces warriors. Dr. Kessler has given over a dozen lectures on her research at national conferences and is currently a medical editor and reviewer for the Journal of Special Operations Medicine and MyHealthTeams, LLC. She was previously a reviewer for the World Neurosurgery journal and has authored five textbook chapters in major neurosurgical textbooks.

As a mentor, Dr. Kessler's greatest strength lies in her ability to draw from her extensive teaching and tutoring experience, coupled with her firsthand knowledge of the medical school and residency admissions processes. Her exceptional academic performance at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she graduated with distinction in research, has provided her with invaluable insights into what it takes to succeed in the competitive world of medical education.

Dr. Choe's educational journey began at Duke University, where he double majored in biology and chemistry. He then pursued his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Driven to specialize and expand his knowledge, he completed specialty training in prosthodontics at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He earned a PhD in bioengineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Dr. Choe’s clinician role as a dentist for nearly eight years has allowed him to gain extensive experience in dentistry, including implant surgeries, full-mouth rehabilitations, and digital dental technology. With over a decade of experience as an admissions coach and mentor, he helps students pursue graduate and professional education in dentistry.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Choe has made significant contributions to the field of tissue engineering, with numerous publications to his name. His involvement in the National Science Foundation's Innovation Corps program further highlights his dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and translating research into practical applications.

Dr. Choe's approach to coaching is flexible and tailored to each individual—students he has coached have been accepted to top dental schools at New York University and the University of Pittsburgh, among others. He takes the time to understand what motivates and inspires students, allowing him to provide personalized guidance and support. Dr. Shafton earned an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Michigan and began his career in investment banking. However, deep down, he felt that his calling was to become a doctor. Inspired by a research assistantship at the University of California, San Francisco (where he co-authored his first scholarly publication), he pivoted to medicine, completing a postbaccalaureate premedical program at Harvard University. While at Harvard, he pursued research in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and volunteered on the pediatric oncology ward at Boston Children’s Hospital. He was then accepted to the University of Illinois College of Medicine, where he received a merit-based scholarship covering full tuition for his second year and engaged in several research projects

After medical school, Dr. Shafton completed his internship at Rambam Hospital in Israel and began specialty training in neurosurgery, contributing a chapter to a neurosurgical textbook. He later transitioned to urgent care medicine, where he treated more than 12,000 patients across a wide range of conditions. His years of front-line clinical practice honed his diagnostic skills, adaptability, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

As an admissions coach, Dr. Shafton draws on this unique combination of academic, clinical, and mentorship experience to guide aspiring medical students. Dr. Cousins earned his Bachelor’s in animal science and a Master’s in medical sciences from the University of Florida before obtaining his MD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. With extensive experience on the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine’s admissions committee, Dr. Cousins played a pivotal role in selecting applicants for admission and conducting interviews, helping to shape the next generation of physicians. Dr. Cousins' efforts through representing the school at medical career fairs and conferences significantly boosted diversity recruitment by over 200%.

After med school, Dr Cousins completed his emergency medicine residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, where he took on leadership roles, including Associate EMS Director for Akron Fire and Associate Medical Director of the Akron Tactical Emergency Medicine unit. His expertise extends beyond the hospital, having worked in Level 1 trauma centers, rural emergency departments, and critical care transport as a Life Flight physician.

Currently, Dr. Cousins serves as an emergency medicine physician at multiple Veterans Affairs hospitals, providing high-quality care to veterans. Dr. Jain’s professional journey reflects a strong commitment to service and accessibility. Dr. Sadeghian has held many provided roles where he has provided academic counseling and mentoring to countless students, helping shape the next generation of medical professionals. He has held several academic positions, including Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Rutgers University, Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the California University of Science and Medicine, and Clinical Student Academic Advisor at St. George's University. 

As a mentor, Dr. Sadeghian takes a personalized approach. While at vet school, Dr. Kuo held positions as a veterinary school radiology technician and was an on-campus pharmaceuticals representative for Fort Dodge and Boehringer-Ingelheim. She also pursued a conservation externship in South Africa and externed at various small animal private practices and specialty clinics throughout the Midwest. Dr. Kuo was also an active member of the veterinary professional fraternity, Omega Tau Sigma. 

Dr. Kuo began her career as a veterinarian at a large, full-service walk-in hospital in downtown Chicago. After two years as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Kuo became the medical director, where she built out a veterinarian training program with a focus on new-graduate mentorship. Her leadership role gave her an understanding of the pitfalls and successes of operating a modern animal hospital in an urban setting. 

Dr. Kuo co-founded a veterinary management company called GoodVets, where she acted as the Chief Medical Officer. The company challenged the practice “norm” and introduced a tech-centered business with a people-centric approach to the leadership team. There she established the core process and procedures of a successful franchise model that built the basis for repeatable action that the company is still successfully thriving on.

As a mentor, Dr. Kuo's greatest strength lies in her ability to draw from her diverse experiences and provide a well-rounded perspective on the veterinary profession. Throughout her career, she has worked in every position across a veterinary hospital and has always had a strong passion for teaching and mentorship. Helping others thrive in their own career is especially purposeful and rewarding to her. Dr. Kuo is excited to work alongside students to help them create a strong, personalized application that will get them one step closer to a fulfilling career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Ravi discovered her pre-med mentorship at Rice University. During her undergraduate years, she held leadership roles in the Rice University Pre-Medical Society and served as a senior interviewer on the university’s admissions team. In these roles, Dr. Ravi gained experience hosting various sessions and workshops for pre-medical students and conducting mock interviews for applicants. She was also named to the Rice University President’s Honor Roll and received the Distinction in Research Award (Biosciences).

In medical school, Dr. Ravi guided incoming students through the Big Sibling program. She also served as a research liaison for students interested in neurology and neurosurgery. Dr. Ravi has 15+ publications, and her research contributions span cancer nanotechnology, head and neck surgery, and interventional neurology and stroke. As a resident at Houston Methodist Hospital, Dr. Ravi was awarded the American Academy of Neurology Medical Student Prize for Excellence and the Holzenburg Research Award for Research Excellence.

Dr. Ravi coaches applicants with a personalized approach tailored for each individual. She takes time to understand each applicant’s background and story, helping them determine their strengths and how to showcase these in the admissions process. Dr. Ravi has a deep understanding of the application process and is passionate about making it more accessible for aspiring medical students and residents.

Dr. Diulus first served as an interviewer at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. After one year of interviewing students, she spent the next two years of her tenure as an application reader. Her insight into the admissions process, developed through hands-on experience evaluating personal statements, secondaries, and interviews, gives her a strong edge in helping students craft impactful, authentic applications.

Dr. Diulus has a strong academic and research background, with over 20 peer-reviewed publications in orthopedic surgery and radiology. Before medical school, she completed a clinical research internship at the American Hip Institute, contributing to high-impact orthopedic outcomes research. She was also a recipient of the National Institutes of Health T35 Grant for summer research and is a member of both the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and Alpha Sigma Nu. Dr. Diulus currently serves as a Content Acquisition Editor for the Journal of Medical Insight (JOMI). 

As a coach, Dr. Diulus brings a strategic and highly personalized approach. She understands the unique challenges faced by first-time applicants, reapplicants, and non-traditional students. Students who work with Dr. Diulus appreciate her clarity, empathy, and ability to help them build a cohesive narrative that reflects their strengths and growth.

Dr. Diulus specializes in personal statement and secondary essay editing with an emphasis on authentic storytelling, strategic application planning, school list construction, and traditional and MMI interview preparation. She also excels at helping applicants frame their clinical, volunteer, and research experiences for maximum impact. Dr. Diulus’ favorite part of coaching is helping students find clarity and confidence in their unique path to medicine. She believes every applicant has a story worth telling—and she’s committed to helping them tell it well.

Originally from Nepal, Dr. Kafle has lived in many places, including Thailand, Switzerland, and five U.S. states. His diverse background has instilled in him a strong passion for global medicine and a unique perspective on the world.

Dr. Kafle’s academic journey began at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in neuroscience. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research in Drosophila olfaction and learning and developed a strong foundation in the sciences.

After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Kafle spent his gap year working and saving money to apply to medical school. He became an EMT and volunteered in a Las Vegas emergency department, gaining valuable hands-on experience in patient care.

While in medical school, Dr. Kafle conducted clinical research in the Department of Otolaryngology, examining outcomes in head and neck surgeries and craniofacial traumas. He also provides primary care to under-insured patients at HAVEN, a student-run free clinic on the weekends. He acted as a peer tutor for three years and was the Student Course Director of a surgery live-streaming elective and a head and neck ultrasound course.

As a first-generation medical student, Dr. Kafle understands the challenges of navigating medical school applications. He is committed to helping students of all backgrounds share their stories through insightful and effective application narratives. 

Dr. Amaka’s passion for internal medicine, with a particular interest in gastroenterology and clinical research, is matched only by his commitment to mentorship and advising. As a first-generation American student and former college athlete, Dr. Amaka's journey to medicine has instilled in him a deep appreciation for the importance of guidance and support in navigating the complex path to a medical career.

Dr. Amaka's academic journey began at Amherst College, where he majored in psychology. During his undergraduate years, he demonstrated exceptional versatility by balancing his athletic commitments with various academic and professional pursuits. His experiences included conducting cancer research at Harvard's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, participating in a medical internship at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and engaging in the Charles Drew Health Professionals Peer Mentorship Program. Dr. Amaka's outstanding achievements were recognized with the Samuel Walley Brown Scholarship, awarded for his exemplary character, class leadership, academic excellence, and athletic ability.

Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Amaka further honed his research skills by returning to the Harvard Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a research assistant in the medical oncology department, focusing on lymphoma and leukemia. This experience solidified his passion for clinical research and its potential to improve patient outcomes.

As a medical student at Columbia University, Dr. Amaka excelled academically while maintaining his commitment to research and mentorship. He conducted research in the cardiology department, exploring novel treatments for cardiac amyloidosis, and currently works with Columbia's Celiac Disease Center, contributing to gastroenterology research.

Dr. Amaka's dedication to guiding pre-med students is evident in his ongoing involvement with the pre-health department at Amherst College. As an alumnus, he offers personalized support to students starting their pre-medical journey, taking particular joy in helping them develop personalized action plans tailored to their paths and circumstances.

Dr. Amaka's approach to admissions consulting is characterized by his enthusiasm, dedication, and genuine desire for student success. He recognizes the pivotal role that a dedicated admissions consultant can play in navigating the application cycle and is committed to sharing his knowledge and experiences to help others achieve their dreams of pursuing a career in medicine.

Dr. Irani’s path to medicine began with an early commitment to service and academic excellence, graduating from Wayne State University with a BS in honors psychology, a minor in nutrition and food science, and recognition as a Phi Beta Kappa scholar. Participation in Wayne State's MedStart BS/MD program laid the groundwork for a career shaped by both strong scholarship and deep community engagement. Dr. Irani received multiple recognitions during her time at Wayne State, including the Wayne State University Presidential Scholarship, Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) Award, and Fulbright U.S. Student Program Award. She also received multiple recognitions for posters and presentations.

At the University of Michigan, Dr. Irani completed a dual MD/MPH program, taking a year to focus on public health research in epidemiology. During her medical training, Dr. Irani contributed to groundbreaking research in pediatric pulmonology, neonatal intensive care, maternal-fetal medicine, health equity, and global health. This work led to numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Irani has been published in prestigious journals such as Academic Medicine: The Journal of the Association of American Medical Colleges, the American Journal of Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science. 

Dr. Irani was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and was awarded Epidemiology Department Dean’s Scholarship, a full-tuition award for completing her MPH. She also received the Woll Scholarship through Global Reach for International Research in Ghana and an African Studies Center scholarship for travel to the International Society for Hypertension of Pregnancy (ISSHP) conference in India, where she received the Young Investigator Award. 

Dr. Irani’s leadership experience is equally robust, including roles as Co-Chair for OBGYN Delivered, Director of Operations for the Doctors of Tomorrow pipeline program, Chair of the Student Diversity Council, and outreach coordinator for the University of Michigan Student-Run Free Clinic. Through these and other positions, Dr. Irani has consistently promoted diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical education and fostered supportive environments where students can thrive. She is currently completing her residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals & Clinics.

Dr. Irani has extensive experience in coaching students at every stage of the medical journey, including BS/MD admissions, pre-med and pre-health advising, medical school admissions coaching, and residency admissions guidance. As a medical school admissions interviewer, Dr. Irani gained deep insights into what admissions committees value and was involved in a decision-making capacity. With 10 years of coaching experience, she has helped students gain acceptance to the University College of Human Medicine, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, UT Southwestern School of Medicine, Wayne State University School of Medicine, Georgetown University School of Medicine, Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and others. 

As an admissions consultant, Dr. Irani draws on comprehensive experience as both a mentor and applicant, helping students navigate personal statements, interview preparation, and application strategy. She is known for her approachability, encouragement, and an unwavering commitment to student success. Her consulting style is that she sees every student as a whole person whose unique story deserves to shine. Dr. Irani brings both expert insight and genuine enthusiasm to every student’s journey, fostering confidence and highlighting each student’s authentic strengths.

Dr. Dalamangas began her higher education journey at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science and pre-veterinary. During her undergraduate studies, she gained hands-on experience working with animals on the university’s farm, which reinforced her passion for veterinary medicine and confirmed she was on the right path.

At Iowa State, Dr. Dalamangas explored various veterinary tracks, including small and large animal medicine, exotics and zoo animal medicine, and laboratory animal medicine, before deciding to focus on small animal medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Dalamangas returned to Massachusetts, where she has enjoyed a diverse and rewarding career. She has worked in private and corporate small animal practices, vaccine clinics, veterinary telehealth, academia, and in-home pet euthanasia. Her academic contributions include serving as the attending veterinarian at Becker College and as adjunct faculty at Massasoit Community College, where she teaches radiology to veterinary technician students.

As an admissions coach, Dr. Dalamangas offers structured, detail-oriented guidance grounded in practical experience. Her approachable, goal-oriented style empowers students to stay focused and confident throughout the admissions process. 

Through her work with undergraduate students, Dr. Dalamangas has developed a deep appreciation for mentoring aspiring veterinary professionals. She enjoys helping students navigate the path to veterinary school, reminding them that small, consistent steps are what lead to long-term success.
