Dr. Hossain enjoys weightlifting and finding hole-in-the-wall places to eat. She was a member of her college’s weightlifting club.
Dr. Hossain completed her BA and BS in anthropology and biology from the University of Florida, followed by a DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She completed an endodontics residency at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dental Medicine, and currently works as an associate endodontist.
As a graduate of Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Hossain brings a unique perspective to dental school admissions consulting. Her experience on the Harvard admissions committee, combined with her commitment to mentoring undergraduate students, gives her an insider's view of what it takes to succeed in dental school applications.

Dr. Basilice was invited back to the NYU School of Dentistry to teach operative dentistry after completing his dental residency.
Dr. Basilice’s journey into dentistry began following a childhood incident that resulted in dental trauma. This experience, which required a decade of treatment from various dental specialists, inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry to help others regain their confidence and self-esteem.
Dr. Basilice's academic journey began at St. John's University, where he earned a BS in biology with an exceptional 3.9 GPA while participating in water polo, swim team, and tutoring university athletes. His outstanding performance on the DAT helped him secure his acceptance to the New York University School of Dentistry, where he completed the four-year program in just three years. After passing the National Dental Boards, Dr. Basilice completed a general surgical residency at Beekman Downtown Hospital in Manhattan, where he simultaneously established his first practice.
While serving as an admissions committee member at NYU and Beekman Downtown Hospital, Dr. Basilice reviewed over 1,000 applications and interviewed 250+ students. This experience honed his ability to pinpoint precisely what selective dental schools and dental residency programs seek in applicants.
Throughout his career, Dr. Basilice has built two successful dental practices—one on 5th Avenue in Manhattan and another in Suffolk County, Long Island—which he continues to operate today. His commitment to community service extended beyond dentistry when, following Hurricane Katrina, he founded EnviroSafe, a disaster recovery and relief company that has since assisted victims of other natural disasters including Superstorm Sandy. The company also specializes in virus decontamination for HVAC systems in schools and buildings. His humanitarian efforts have earned him recognition as a member of the FEMA National Council, the National Green Council, and the International Sustainability Council. He is also affiliated with the First and Tenth District National Dental Association and the National Association of Architects.
Dr. Basilice has dedicated over 20 years to mentoring and coaching aspiring dental professionals. He has maintained a comprehensive mentorship program in his practices, allowing pre-dental students and dental assistants to shadow him and explore the profession. His guidance has helped several individuals gain acceptance to top dental schools, including NYU, Stony Brook, the University of Connecticut, Boston University, the University at Buffalo, the University of Pennsylvania, and many others.

Dr. Oyeledun is a passionate traveler, accomplished home cook, and dedicated collector of exotic spices. She loves interior design, spending time with her husband and three children, and remains actively involved in her all-girls boarding school’s alumni network.
Dr. Oyeledun holds a BS in bio-behavioral health from Pennsylvania State University. She graduated with a DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She completed a general practice residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, now BronxCare. Dr. Oyeledun is also the founder and co-owner of Vive Dental Day Spa, a practice she operates with her sister, who is also a dentist.
She currently serves as the Chief Dental Director at Tug River Health Association, a federally qualified health center located in the highest health professional shortage area in the country. In this leadership role, she provides critical access to dental care in a severely underserved community.
A respected voice in the dental field, Dr. Oyeledun is a distinguished member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the National Dental Association. She is in the process of earning her Fellowship in the AGD, a distinction held by only 6% of practicing dentists. She is a certified Invisalign provider, a credentialed Oral Health Leadership and Education certificate-holder, and one of the few certified professionals for Oral Rapid HIV Testing and Counseling. Her advanced certifications also include conscious sedation through the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and training in botulinum toxin and dermal filler injectables, areas she incorporates into her focus on cosmetic and facial aesthetics.
Dr. Oyeledun’s advising style is deeply rooted in connection-based mentorship, with a focus on helping students develop not just strong academic profiles, but compelling personal narratives. She believes success in dentistry and admissions alike hinges on forming valuable, authentic relationships with mentors, peers, and professional networks. Each session with her is goal-oriented yet flexible, and tailored to each student’s evolving needs.
