Dr. Reddy completed a highly selective seven-year accelerated BS/MD program on a four-year merit-based scholarship from Augusta University and the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta, where he served as an admissions interviewer and counselor. Following medical school, Dr. Reddy trained as a neurosurgery resident at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, one of the nation’s premier academic neurosurgery programs, and served on their admissions committee as an interviewer as well.

Dr. Reddy earned a BS in cellular and molecular biology, graduating summa cum laude from Augusta University. He completed his medical education at the Medical College of Georgia, where he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship, a full-tuition, four-year merit-based award, as well as the Medical Scholars Research Scholarship.

Following medical school, Dr. Reddy trained as a neurosurgery resident at the University of Southwestern Medical Center, During residency, he managed the care of hundreds of patients and supervised medical students on clinical rotations. His time in neurosurgery provided him with firsthand insight into the rigor, expectations, and unspoken rules of elite academic training environments. He also has an exceptional research background, with over 1,000 hours of laboratory and clinical research experience resulting in more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and an h-index of 40. His research productivity places him among the most published trainees of his cohort and allows him to advise applicants with strong academic and research ambitions on how to present scholarly work authentically and strategically.

Motivated by a desire to make an impact at scale, Dr. Reddy transitioned from clinical training into healthcare consulting, where he now works closely with C-suite leaders across the healthcare ecosystem. He currently works as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he advises leading health systems on growth strategy, clinical operations, and organizational transformation.

As an admissions coach, Dr. Reddy is thoughtful, supportive, and deeply invested in student success. He has reviewed over 1,000+ applications and interviewed over 100 candidates as an admissions committee member. He has also mentored numerous aspiring medical students, BS/MD candidates, and residency applicants, all of whom have successfully matched or matriculated into medical training programs at schools like Vanderbilt University, the University of Boston, UPenn, Harvard University, Cornell University, Columbia University, and more. His approach is individualized and narrative-driven, helping applicants articulate what they have done, why it matters, and who they are becoming as physicians. He is particularly skilled at working with high-achieving applicants aiming for top-tier programs, as well as those navigating complex or non-linear paths.

Dr. Reddy is passionate about coaching because he recognizes how opaque and high-stakes the admissions process can feel, even for exceptional candidates. He is committed to demystifying the process, building confidence, and helping applicants present themselves with clarity, maturity, and conviction.
