Before pursuing a Master’s in pharmacology and physiology at the University of Florida, Thomas graduated from Florida State University with a degree in psychology. Thomas has helped students achieve scores as high as 522 on the MCAT and has guided many learners to significant score improvements, with an average increase of 10 points.

Throughout his educational journey, Thomas has held many roles in behavioral health and clinical settings. He served as a Lead Behavioral Health Consultant, worked as a behavioral health technician at Apalachee Center, and volunteered as a medical assistant at United Spine and Pain—all in Tallahassee, Florida. He also served as a first responder with the Florida State Medical Response Unit and dedicated several years as an AmeriCorps volunteer with the Alzheimer's Project.

As Thomas prepared for the MCAT, the test became deeply meaningful to him as a defining moment that built his confidence and rekindled his love for learning. Inspired by that transformation, Thomas began tutoring to help others experience that same sense of mastery and belief in themselves. His path toward medicine took an unexpected turn after a car accident left him with chronic neck and back injuries, forcing him to step away from his medical school plans. What began as a devastating setback became a period of reflection and growth that redirected his passion toward education and mentorship.

Thomas’ ongoing graduate training in medical physiology and pharmacology strengthens the academic rigor he brings to his tutoring sessions. His experience as a teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry II and Social Psychology at Florida State University, along with his work teaching psychosocial rehabilitation to psychiatric patients, has refined his ability to teach challenging ideas with clarity, structure, and compassion.
