Khristian's professional experience spans both education and healthcare. He currently serves as a Lead Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP) Summer Mentor, a CAP tutor, and an Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) lab teaching assistant at UNT Health Fort Worth. Previously, he worked as a teaching assistant in organic chemistry at St. Edward's University and ran an independent tutoring practice for over six years. These roles have refined his ability to break down complex scientific concepts into clear, digestible lessons and to meet students exactly where they are.
Khristian first began tutoring during his undergraduate years and quickly discovered a passion for helping students navigate educational challenges. His ability to connect with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds allows him to tailor study plans and strategies to each individual's strengths and needs. Khristian’s tutoring approach emphasizes content mastery, critical reasoning, accountability, and confidence-building, helping students not only improve their scores but also develop study habits that will serve them throughout their careers. In addition to his tutoring experience, Khristian has served in multiple educational and mentorship roles, including leading large-group academic review sessions and providing individualized support to students pursuing careers in medicine.
Khristian believes that successful MCAT preparation extends beyond memorization. He works closely with students to identify strengths, address weaknesses, and develop efficient, evidence-based study strategies that maximize performance while preventing burnout. His goal is to help students approach the MCAT with confidence, clarity, and a realistic plan for success. Students Khristian has tutored have been accepted to multiple Texas medical schools, including UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School, the University of Texas Medical Branch John Sealy School of Medicine, Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
