Before pursuing an MD-PhD at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the University of Cambridge Department of Clinical Neurosciences, Hallie graduated from Yale University. Hallie spent two years working in the Yale University Undergraduate Admissions Office, including a year as the student lead for STEM recruitment. She was awarded a Gates-Cambridge Scholarship while studying at JHU.

Hallie is a member of the National Institutes of Health Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from Yale University, where she served as Co-President of the Yale Medical Professions Outreach and Chief of Service for the Yale Emergency Medical Service.

Hallie’s admissions experience, including her role as the student lead for STEM recruitment at Yale, equips her with expert insights into the application process. She also supervised medical students in the Department of Physiology, Development, and Neuroscience at Cambridge.

She has worked on a variety of research projects spanning astrophysics, computational genomics, cell biology, viral pathogenesis, regenerative biology, and neuroimmunology. Her research has resulted in 12 co-authored scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating her commitment to advancing medical knowledge.
