Undergrad: Yale University
Fred is a computational biology and machine learning researcher. His work has been published in the Journal of Inherited Metabolic Disease and Circulation, and he has published abstracts from the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions. Fred was also awarded the Summer Experience Award and Dean's Research Fellowship while studying at Yale University.
Fred began tutoring early in his college career as a peer tutor at Yale, where he spent four years teaching general chemistry, organic chemistry, and advanced mathematics. He also organized teaching initiatives for middle and high school students in urban New Haven, connecting Yale students with the surrounding community. That experience working with learners from a wide variety of academic backgrounds gave Fred a deep appreciation for how to meet each student where they are and build upward from there.
As an MCAT tutor, Fred takes pride in isolating and clearly defining each student's areas for improvement, then developing a strategic plan to address those gaps. Students he has tutored have been accepted to top medical schools at Yale University, Brown University, and Harvard University. Fred is excited to provide personalized MCAT tutoring to future doctors!
