Undergrad: Duke University
During his time at Duke University, Ethan conducted research in the Weisner Research Lab and co-authored a publication examining extracellular vesicles. His research was published in Environmental Science & Technology. Ethan also worked as a biomedical research assistant at Mercer University School of Medicine, where he mentored medical student researchers and helped explain complex laboratory techniques and scientific concepts. He has worked as a Project Manager at Epic Systems, gaining experience in healthcare technology and collaborative problem-solving. These roles strengthened his ability to communicate complex ideas clearly—an approach he brings directly into his tutoring.
Ethan is passionate about helping students build confidence and understanding in subjects that can sometimes feel overwhelming. Students he has tutored have been accepted to Cornell University, Duke University, Emory University, the Medical College of Georgia, Vanderbilt University, Tulane University, and others.
Drawing from his own MCAT preparation experience and extensive tutoring work, he helps students break down complex material into manageable frameworks and develop effective study systems. Ethan works closely with students to strengthen critical reasoning skills, especially in CARS, while also guiding them through the scientific reasoning required for the exam’s science sections.
