Before attending medical school, Dr. Mohammadi earned dual undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, graduating as valedictorian of the science class. He went on to earn a Master of Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology before attending medical school. He completed his family medicine residency at Community Health Network in Indianapolis and later pursued advanced fellowship training through the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine and the Institute for Functional Medicine.
Dr. Mohammadi has earned the Castle Connolly Top Doctor distinction two years in a row and was named a peer-selected Top Doctor by Indianapolis Monthly. He received the John and Marna Black Award for exceptional patient, peer, and collegial interactions, along with a certificate of research achievement from Community Health Network. He has also contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications in areas including surgical education, oncology, urology, and genomic research. His research has been published in the Journal of Endourology, Cancer Gene Therapy, and the Journal of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Mohammadi currently practices as a concierge integrative primary care physician at LifeScape Premier in Scottsdale, Arizona. Before this, he spent more than seven years practicing family medicine and urgent care at Community Health Network, where he supervised medical students, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff. His clinical background spans primary care, preventive medicine, addiction medicine, integrative medicine, and population health, and he completed fellowship training in both integrative and functional medicine. He has also contributed to the broader medical community as a Chapter Leader for the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine and as a board member for both the Community Health Network Wellness Association and the Master of Public Health Alumni Association. He also worked as a high school football team doctor for years.
As an admissions coach, Dr. Mohammadi focuses on helping applicants identify and communicate the experiences that genuinely define their journey. His approach is personalized, gentle, honest, and strategic, helping students build applications that reflect who they truly are. He is passionate about supporting traditional and non-traditional applicants as they pursue careers in medicine. He thrives when elevating and educating others!
