Dr. Reddy earned a BS in cellular and molecular biology, graduating summa cum laude from Augusta University. He completed his medical education at the Medical College of Georgia, where he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship, a full-tuition, four-year merit-based award, as well as the Medical Scholars Research Scholarship.
Following medical school, Dr. Reddy trained as a neurosurgery resident at the University of Southwestern Medical Center. During residency, he managed the care of hundreds of patients and supervised medical students on clinical rotations. Dr. Reddy has an exceptional research background, with over 1,000 hours of laboratory and clinical research experience resulting in more than 150 peer-reviewed publications and an h-index of 40. His research productivity places him among the most published trainees of his cohort and allows him to advise applicants with strong academic and research ambitions on how to present scholarly work authentically and strategically.
Motivated by a desire to make an impact at scale, Dr. Reddy transitioned from clinical training into healthcare consulting, where he now works closely with C-suite leaders across the healthcare ecosystem. He currently works as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, where he advises leading health systems on growth strategy, clinical operations, and organizational transformation.
Dr. Reddy has experience leading students through research in many areas, including biostatistics, cell biology, systems/quantitative biology, physiology, integrative biology, neuroscience, public health, biomedical informatics, clinical informatics, and data science. He also has experience coaching students in research related to health policy, health economics, and health services and outcomes. Dr. Reddy is committed to demystifying the research process and helping students build confidence and skills.
