Before attending medical school, Dr. Allam graduated from Rutgers University–Newark with a BS in biology. After completing his undergraduate studies, he gained experience in pharmaceutical research as an SAS clinical programmer, supporting Phase I–III clinical trials. He also managed surgical center operations at Rush Oak Brook Surgery Center in Chicago. He also pursued executive education in healthcare management at Yale University. Dr. Allam is a co-author on a peer-reviewed publication in CHEST on invasive ventilation outcomes in sepsis, and holds certifications as a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer and maintains ACLS and BLS credentials.
