Austin College with a BA with honors in biology. He performed biomedical research at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and then enrolled in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Elluru completed his residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at Washington University, followed by a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. He remained on faculty there for over 13 years, specializing in airway reconstruction and vascular anomalies, and received National Institutes of Health funding for research in tracheal cartilage development.
Dr. Elluru later founded the Division of Pediatric ENT at Dayton Children’s Hospital and served as Department Chair of Otolaryngology at Wright State Medical School, where he worked as a professor for over a decade. He also completed a Master’s in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Elluru currently serves as a clinician at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.

His experience in evaluating and selecting candidates allows him to guide applicants with clarity and precision, helping them craft compelling applications, refine personal statements, and prepare effectively for interviews. His mentorship approach is grounded in helping applicants present their strongest, most authentic narratives.
