Dr. Hassan is the Internal Medicine Shadowing Program Director who earned an MD from Ross University School of Medicine. He holds two master’s degrees: an MPH from Chamberlain University and an MS in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Hassan completed his internal medicine residency at HCA Healthcare, followed by fellowship training in hospice and palliative medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he later joined the faculty as an assistant professor.
