Throughout his training, Dr. Jourdan has been recognized for his leadership, commitment to medical education, and dedication to mentoring the next generation of physicians.
Mentorship has been a defining part of Dr. Jourdan’s career long before becoming a physician. Whether coaching aspiring physicians, teaching medical trainees in the emergency department, or working with youth through education and sports, he finds immense fulfillment in helping others achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. Having successfully navigated the highly competitive medical school, residency, and fellowship application processes himself, he understands both the strategy and stress involved. Dr. Jourdan is passionate about empowering applicants not only to gain admission to outstanding programs but also to develop the confidence, resilience, and perspective that will serve them throughout their careers in medicine.
Dr. Jourdan’s coaching style is collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly personalized, helping students craft impactful personal statements, prepare for interviews with confidence, and present the strongest version of themselves. His greatest strength as an admissions coach is his ability to help applicants discover and articulate the unique experiences that make them stand out. Dr. Jourdan believes that the best physicians bring their whole selves to medicine, and the strongest applications are built on authenticity, thoughtful reflection, and a compelling personal narrative rather than simply checking boxes.
