Andy L.

At the University of Windsor, Andy worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Rahim Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences through the Outstanding Scholars Program, studying NK cell interactions within the immune system. He graduated with great distinction and received repeated recognition on the President's Honour Roll and Dean's List. Andy later mentored students interested in applying to the Outstanding Scholars Program, helping them understand what the research experience and application process actually involved. Andy also served as Vice President of the AIMING Society, where he helped build community among students during some of the most demanding years of their degrees.

Andy has been tutoring for eight years, beginning as a private tutor teaching a mix of math and sciences before shifting his focus to MCAT preparation. Having gone through the MCAT and the pre-med process himself, he understands both the content and the mental game the exam demands. His approach centers on encouragement and building study plans and strategies suited to each student's individual strengths, rather than a one-size-fits-all system. Andy is passionate about helping students walk into test day feeling prepared.
