After passing the NCLEX in just 75 questions, Diamond started her nursing career at Penn Medicine, working as a critical care RN. She recently spent nearly two years in Spain supporting teachers in public primary and secondary schools through the Council on International Educational Exchange as an English language and cultural assistant. 

Diamond's passion for nursing and mentoring stems from her own experiences as a student. Throughout her nursing studies, she was proactive in seeking help when needed, regularly attending professors' office hours and working with a tutor. This firsthand experience as a tutoring recipient has instilled in her a deep appreciation for personalized guidance, fueling her eagerness to give back by sharing her knowledge with aspiring nurses.

As a counselor, Diamond's strengths lie in her diverse nursing experience and her ability to relate to students' challenges. Her five-year career spans various areas of nursing, including acute care rehab, intensive care unit, wound care consulting, occupational health, school nursing, and travel nursing. Before attending the University of Arizona, Anna received a BS from Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU), majoring in biology and minoring in Spanish. She attended SVSU on a full-ride President’s scholarship and was an active member of the honor program, Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity, and the Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society.

Anna has nursing experience in emergency, progressive care, telemetry, pediatrics, and medical-surgical. Before residency, Dr. Ng completed his Bachelor’s in biological sciences at the University of Pittsburgh and his DMD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors in Community Oral Health and Care of Medically Complex Patients. 

Passionate about providing care to underserved communities, Dr. Ng was a part of the National Health Service Corps and worked for two years as a general dentist in Frisco, CO, providing care to mountain communities nestled around Colorado’s famous ski resorts. He has returned to academia to pursue his specialty in orthodontics. 

As a coach, Dr. Ng strongly believes in becoming an ally and partner to help applicants achieve their goals. Growing up, Dr. Issac was very passionate about helping others which translated into countless volunteer opportunities and experiences exposing her to different fields of healthcare. Dr. Issac ultimately decided to pursue a career in dentistry after attending a six-week program called the Summer Dental School Experience, where she did extensive research about oral health disparities under the assistant dean for admissions and diversity at the University of Minnesota. 

During college, Dr. Issac worked as a pharmacy technician while continuously engaging in many extracurriculars, including serving on the pre-dental club board and volunteering at a local community dental clinic and her church. After graduation, she attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and was the youngest in her class. 

In her last year of dental school, Dr. Issac was selected as a student ambassador. In this position, she gave tours of the school to applicants, conducted interviews, and aided the admissions committee in selecting applicants they wanted to offer an acceptance to. This was a very exciting role for her as she advised aspiring applicants with the knowledge of the reality of what dental school entails.
