Meet Inspira Advantage’s Vet School Admissions Experts

Maris completed her undergraduate degree at Carleton College before attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s (UIUC) DVM/PhD Veterinary Medical Scholars Program (VSMP). Maris started a club at Carleton that focused on students with aspirations to pursue futures in science, and she was Vice President of the Pre-Veterinary Association. Upon graduation, Maris was presented with Carleton’s Women's Leadership Award.

Dr. Jedlinski attended Saint Louis University and the University of Minnesota before graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where he spent three years as a student admissions representative. He is an associate veterinarian with a Fear Free Certification and diverse background in biology, public health, and veterinary medicine.

Dr. Elcombe is an equine veterinarian with a passion for combining clinical practice with research. She graduated from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where she excelled in equine medicine, served as class president, and conducted research in equine genetics. She now works as an associate veterinarian at Maryland Veterinary Group, specializing in Thoroughbred racehorses
